Isaac Redman

Did you hear the extended tapes? He does go on to offend his team.

But bringing it back- how could anyone on his team NOT be offended by the fact that he wouldnt want their parents, wives, children to come to the stadium?

What if the Rooneys said- 'Hey Antonio, go have a hell of a game out there today and play your heart out for my $$- But please keep your parents and your son at home"
He did not as I understood it care about who came to the games, only who his mistress was hanging out with or brought to the games. Also how did his wealth all get attributed to black people. He likely had it before he bought the team. And from what I can tell from sports franchises they are not except for a few all that profitable. I am not your brother, uncle or cousin.

Naw, he clear as day says " I do not want them coming to my games"

And also, he bought the clippers for about $15 million in 1981. That same team is worth close to $600 million today. So I say he's made a pretty penny from the teams

So are you saying things would be different if the team were white. Everybody would be ok with it?

I am not white, so I cannot say how that group of white guys would react- but something tells me that the white team also wouldn't be too happy that their boss shared those feelings. And most would probably try to distance themselves from the organization. Thus, making it a pretty big deal

The nba has to change 70% black is not racial equality.
Karma.

The guy in question is 80 dumped his wife for a hired companion that is likely younger than his children and you guys need him to make comments like this to think he is a jack ***, really. Now as to her do you think she is anything but a piece of property, she has sold herself for some material goods, last time I checked that makes her a prostitute.
And him a hypocrite for getting racial whilst slipping a black girl the bone. Me love you long time.
Redman gets it though. The Rooneys are cool for a bunch of old Irishmen.

I think that this whole thing is BS --- the fact that they broke into TV with this as "SPECIAL REPORT" was crap..

Sorry this was not special report worthy in my opinion ....

Which is exactly what I said. It doesn't matter that he has black players playing for him. Either way he is screwed.

My point was that it had nothing to do with blacks on his team. Even if his team were white it wouldn't change anything. His wealth being tied to the production of black people is irrelevant. Same thing would happen in the NHL.

Huh? You can't be serious.

Huh? You can't be serious.

IF he were the owner of the Penguins he'd be just as screwed. If the Clippers were all white he'd still be screwed. Is this so hard to understand? Every time some one says something that people disagree with about race comes out that person gets hammered. Now where exactly am I wrong?

How can the owner of a business be banned from it by the NBA? I don't see that holding up in court. Are they going to pay him fair market value to not be a part of something he owns?

There are black people in the NHL? Well I guess I can't own one of those teams either. -Sterling

Yes, there are but that isn't the point. The point that most keep missing is that it doesn't matter. IF ANYONE in the public eye starts spouting racist crap they are going to get hammered. The fact that the NBA is 80%+ black has no bearing on that point.

You're fairly new around here. You've yet to learn the rules. You don't need to be a member of a certain race per say to tell members of that party how they should feel about matters concerning the party. You simply need to feel strongly about it.

They had a black goalie for a while (Grant Fuhr) but they made him wear a white mask.

I was wondering why a thread on Issac Redman was still going and on three pages now I know lol.

Or he invested a lot of pretty pennies in the team and over 30 years increased it's value a lot.

If I remember correctly, the Bucks recently sold for around 600 million. LA is a much larger market and I'd bet the Clippers are worth closer to 1B.

With the new TV deal- its estimatde that he'll fetch between 750mm -1 billion...

12 million dollars turned into a billi 30 years later, ****- we have been in the greatest bull run in the last 30 years and he beat the market nearly by 20x's in the same period

Which one of you wants to look into buying an MLS team? Maybe indoor football or LAX

Someone posted this on my FB:
"Donald Sterling has pretty strong opinions on skin color for someone whose face looks like a urine-soaked catcher's mitt"

i was more upset that a billionaire couldn't reel in a better side piece, than the fact that he didn't want her slobbing all over black guys. who gives a ****...an 80 year old man is racist. big ******* surprise. she coached him into saying the **** that he said.
