I'm not holding the zebras accountable for the loss yesterday... Pittsburgh played terrible...but it was pretty obvious the officials got the word to do what they could to make sure the Ravens won... and it just occurred to me why as the Bengals game was ending... The powers that be wanted a Luck/Manning match up in the playoffs. Think about it.... They call Brown down at the goaline when nobody touched him, then immediately call a false start on DeCastro for moving his fingers on the next play. Helmet to helmet call on Mitchell, but none when Heath got drilled in the head. Raven defensive back runs right up receivers back... no call. Rookie tackle going up against Harrison... not one holding call against him. We get a TD called back for holding. Any of you naiive enough to think that **** doesn't go on, you're kidding yourself.

Brown's knee was down.
DeCastro did move.

I just saw a Bungles player trip TY Hilton in the same exact fashion as Bryant was tripped last night. No call.

The call on Mitchell for helmet to helmet was the correct call. Next!

The refs were fine yesterday and the calls that you cited were all correct.

Could we please delete this garbage?

They did miss the helmet to helmet on Miller and a face ask on a catch by Brown, but the game was already lost by then.

Refs sucked but it did not cost us the game..getting our *** kicked cost us the game

The did miss a face mask. The helmet to helmet on Miller was after he had taken 3 steps with the ball, I don't really think that's "defenseless" anymore. He's a runner by that point.

Joe

I have a problem with the Bryant PI uncalled only because they gave the ravens some close calls. With the Steelers, the refs called it tight. With the ravens, they let them play.

Don't want opposing fans thinking we are blaming the refs, that is a Raven fan typical move...............

Oh yes, Rog DEFINITELY wanted the Ravens to succeed. They're probably his favorite team right now.

You do know that there are some on here that won't see the sarcasm in this post right?

What's Rog gonna do when the Ravens play the Pats*? They're both his favorite teams. His head will assplode I guess.

How many times was Harrison held? How many times did all of the officials call it?......

Steelers 8/114 yards

Ravens 2/14 yards

Not for nothing, but The game was not that lopsided in that area.

Bottom line, Bell or no Bell, the Steelers did not make enough plays to score. They got field goals and Ravens got TDs

Ben didn't have his best game, and once again Flacco is smiling and Ben is making reservations for a tee time.

For a guy ho is due to be paid A LOT of money, he had a ****** game.

The Oline got pushed around as well, and that didn't help Ben at all.

Officiating was crap but it always is. You just got to hope they **** up more in your favor than against it. I've scene 4 feet "accidentally" tangled now with it just happening to the lions also. That rule has to change and if not I'd have all our CBs get real good at taking out the receivers feet next year. Were we going to win the SB this year anyways? No. So let's hope the team development continues and we get a couple of holes filled in the draft.

WINNER! IMO if you tangle feet it's interference. When DB's learn they can get the call, they will exploit. it.

Ravens are very good at buying calls. Our DB's are just atrociously bad.

Like several have pointed out...Miller was a runner, not a helpless receiver.
They did miss the facemask on Brown, though they called him for one on his stiffarm.
Decastro clearly moved.
Holding on Beechum was weak.
The one I'm holding out on though is Brown's TD. Yes, his knee was down, but I was so fixated on his knee and the position of the ball that I never really noticed if he was touched down.

****, we had no issues with officials, we just got beat. Now the Lions on the other hand? That **** in the last eight minutes or so was more than suspect.

I fully believe the nfl is fixed. I also believe we got our *** kicked yesterday.

Mitchell did hit him in the head.......

I stayed up all night after the game wondering where the sun had gone.... Finally it dawned on me.
