It just dawned on me!!!

Not saying it is why we lost, I feel the refs blew the hooking of Harrison, by their tackle before the guard knocked him down to allow Flacco to throw a TD. It was the same call they made to take away Archer's TD. The Bryant pass interference was different than the one not called in the Colts game because the Bengal player was looking for the ball and they were side by side... The Ravens DB was burnt and tripped Bryant up when Bryant slowed down to catch the ball...

My dear god, we lost because the Ravens played better. Refs make stupid decisions sometimes, yes. But you just have to work harder to overcome them then. Play better, and the refs can never take a win away from you. Football is not boxing, it´s impossible to stage wins completely. Too many players on the field, and too many cameras. ;-)

I'm not holding the zebras accountable for the loss yesterday... Pittsburgh played terrible...but it was pretty obvious the officials got the word to do what they could to make sure the Ravens won... and it just occurred to me why as the Bengals game was ending... The powers that be wanted a Luck/Manning match up in the playoffs. Think about it.... They call Brown down at the goaline when nobody touched him, then immediately call a false start on DeCastro for moving his fingers on the next play. Helmet to helmet call on Mitchell, but none when Heath got drilled in the head. Raven defensive back runs right up receivers back... no call. Rookie tackle going up against Harrison... not one holding call against him. We get a TD called back for holding. Any of you naiive enough to think that **** doesn't go on, you're kidding yourself.

The bottom line is if you don't want the refs to effect your game play well enough that calls against you don't matter. Three touchdowns in the first half instead of three field goals and we are talking about whats on the menu for the watch party next week.

the O with field goals etc.
The D with not getting off the field but what once?

not a winning formula

3rd and 18..they get it, third and 12..they get it. stupid hit out of bounds, our dbs cant cover for ****. Penalties that I saw were all called correctly. Theres no rule that says penalty calls have to be even. Want to have a lower number of penalties..quit doing stupid **** like shamarko!

This is the only call I thought was really bad, the O lineman actually had a hold of Harrisons jersy for a second before the other guy knocked him down.

And, YES, we simply got beat.

I've said this many times over the years. I think the NFL is just a notch above pro wrestling. I see it in betting lines and results, i see it in guys dropping footballs from holding them so tight a girl scout could punch them out with a wet noodle. I see point shaving, bogus calls and highly slanted bs overall. I take it for what it is....a fictional entertainment product based on what used to be a real sport. I'm not sure how long it's been this way,but it is what it is and i know I'm not blind. All i want is the hitting part back and some smashmouth knock your dick in the dirt football .

Your offense scoring but one TD in a playoff game doesn't get it.
When it comes to the refs costing you a game and maybe the fix being in, Detroit has a case and we don't.

If what you describe is so rampant, I would think that some disgruntled ex-player could make a small fortune with an expose book.

Complete, absolute, utter nonsense.

Utter nonsense? Did u see what they did in the Dallas game? It's not that I think they wanted the Ravens, it's that they wanted Luck v. Manning, and a Ravens victory gave them that. I'm not saying football is scripted like wrestling, but if you don't think the league does what it can to make sure certain teams win to increase interest which therefore results in better ratings, then you are a fool.

Brown's knee was down.
DeCastro did move.

I just saw a Bungles player trip TY Hilton in the same exact fashion as Bryant was tripped last night. No call.

But he wasn't touched !!
