Please tell me we can.
Why and how.
I don't have as good a football mind as yinz.

Or if you want to, use this thread to make fun of those **** stains.

This is probably the most important game left on the schedule… they have the easiest schedule left in the division.. locking in the tiebreaker with them is very important
Beat the Browns, split with Cinci, go 3-2 in the other 5 games and we are pretty much a lock for the playoffs and probably the division

Can they, sure, will they ?????

If they do, it will be a game with lots of grown men screaming at the TV in front of them. Or they might just get blown out and we can all go outside and rake leaves.

On a positive note, Garrett always seems to disappear in these games.

If the O can run like they have the past 2 weeks and if KP can hit a few 20+ yard completions (this all assumes Canaduh calls the plays), they can win. I think our D can stop or at least slow down their O. We will need to score early as this team definitely plays better when they are ahead. In a nutshell, yes, we can win this weekend.

Hopefully they give Minkah the green dot and he calls the D. The stains will try harder to mitigate TJ, so others like Highsmith should be able to make big plays.

Hopefully the Steelers open the game like they
did against the Pack, and they have a couple slant routes and only roll Kenny right. And Warren and Najee combine for 200 yards, and two of Pickens, DJ and Muth have TDs and 6+ catches.

Clowns are ranked #1 vs the pass only allowing 151 per game. Steelers are ranked 29th only throwing for 180 per game. Clowns rank 7th with only allowing 91 yards per game on the ground. Steelers rank 20th on the ground with 103 BUT ran for 166 & 205 the last two weeks.

The Steelers ranked 27th vs the pass allowing 248 per game. Clowns are ranked 25th in passing only throwing for 185 per game. Steelers are ranked 25th allowing 131 on the ground a game. Clowns rank 2nd on the ground running for about 148 per game.

Clowns average 4 sacks a game in each of their wins. They average 2 sacks in each of their losses. Steelers average 3.5 per win and 2 per loss.

Clowns gave up 4.3 sacks and averaged 2 interceptions thrown in each loss. Steelers averaged 3.6 sacks and 1.6 interceptions thrown in each loss.

So the game plan to win is easy. On offense we need either 150+ on the ground or 300+ of total offense and we need to win the turnover battle. Steelers are +10 this season while the Browns are -4.

Game goals would be for 80 per for Najee and Warren with 2 touchdowns. For Kenny 180 1/0 <2 sacks.

Defense 4 sacks 2 interceptions.

The bottom line. Thats what I like to hear!

Watson is getting a n MRI today… that scares me because we are absolutely doomed if tgey play a total scrub backup… 🤦🏻‍♂️
I think he returned in the game ? I would think he would be available. Thought the MRI was just being cautious.

Revenge games are hard to win and Andy noted the team is due for a loss.(per win loss pattern)

I can't stand clown fans so it would be loved if the Steelers pulled out a W.

This one sure will be a grind. Expect the browns to load the box on D so hopefully some quick shots down the seam and play action could surprise them

Here's what I like, even if Deshawn is playing, he's going to be hampered and slowed by his ankle.

Starting LT Jedrick Willis Jr went on IR before last weekend's game.
Starting RT Dewand Jones missed the Ravens game with a Knee AND Shoulder injury, dude is banged up.

This means TJ and Highsmith will be going up against backups/injured players.

We need Highsmith, Benton, and Ogunjobi to make plays. Ogunjobi has been invisible since week 2, and needs to make plays. Heyward looked slow last week on film, and needs to speed up to the game. How those 2 guys perform is going to determine how big of an impact our OLBs will have. They will do great against the run, and if we're forcing 3rd and longs, look out!

Do we have that in the playbook? We run it so infrequently it is hard to tell. Also line up under center and hit some quick slants or TE pop passes.

I know that I am just a suburbs bumpkin yinzer, and not a experienced, ed-u-macated Defensive genius like Tomlin or Austin… but is there any reason why we dont move highsmith and TJ around to confuse their blocking schemes?

Uggg Yes they can win. I would not be surprised if they win every game left this regular season. uggg I would not be surprised if they lost every game either.

I can not figure this year out.

BACON while pondering--------

Salute the nation

I'm gonna answer my own question and just go with what has been working.

Yes we can win, no down the middle passes, no turnovers, a timely game over interception, and most importantly...let them outgain us.

I want to see a lot of this:
