It's "Clowns Week". Can we beat them?

I really think this game is the key game down the stretch…

Again winning this is like giving the Browns a double loss… they have the easiest schedule down the stretch in the north by a country mile.. they fall to 6-4 but lose all tiebreakers to us*(*except a weird scenario where we three way tie with the Browns and Cincinnati and Cincinnati beats us twice plus we lose to the ravens and have a worse common games record (or a lower tiebreaker) than the other two.)

Basically it means if we beat them to get to 7-3 then go 3-4 down the stretch we finish 10-7 , and they drop to 6-4 but must finish 11-6 … so they have to go 5-2 down the stretch to pass us

It also means if we beat the bengals one time out of the two times we face them, we are guaranteed to win any tiebreakers with them

And if the beat up Bengals were to somehow beat the Ravens Thursday, then not only is this Browns game for the division lead, but winning it and a Bengals game gives us all the tiebreakers in the division.

Be forewarned… when we have these chances to take a stranglehold of the division, we almost always choke it away.

Losing this game very realistically could hand the division to the Browns
 
Of course they can. Stuff the Clowns run game and get qb pressure. Benton is turning into a disruptive badass and Roberts brings the ******* wood.

Think they'll have to pass more this game as I think the Clowns will full sell out to stuff the run. And for crying out loud don't sit in a soft zone when it's 3rd&long. I'm sick of seeing teams convert those easily.

If the Steelers can run like the last two games, I'd say a high probability of a win.
 
I’m hoping Watson is a go. If they roll with PJ Walker we are screwed.. We all know the drill. 28/37 310 yds. 2 pass TD’s 1 rush TD. Zero INT’s and somehow a half sack credited to Ron Rivera.

They started to move Watt 4 games ago, then stopped. They move Myles Garret around a lot, and he forced the other team into a delay of game when he noticed the TE going in motion to his side when he moved, so he continued to do it so they couldn't get set. Smart play.

Tomlin, known for losing to lesser teams, drops this one. You can see my bold prediction in the other thread.
 
Pickens needs to keep his head in the game to at least be a decoy and open other things up. Of course all that would require planning and Pickens not sulking so probably not a strong likelihood. This is a big game for us and one i feel like we should win. We need to score early and on defense be aggressive. Blitz the crap out of them and make walker beat us
 
Clowns are #1 vs pass and #7 vs run. So Tomlin won’t be able to roll out his standard idiotic game plan of passing all day against a top tier pass D or running all day against a top tier run D. Hopefully this will force them to run play action and god forbid….use the middle of the field in passing game.
 
So lets be upfront about this..
we better be ready to play this week
We are about to get a cornered dog of a team for certain…

The Browns absolutely need this game now… if they lose, they probably won’t make the playoffs… its only week 11.. but if they basically fall the equivalent of two games behind us, they aren’t overtaking us… the division is utterly unfathomable… they have a really easy schedule, but no QB.. they aren’t going to stay afloat in the back of the afc wildcard race.. at 7-3 they could play 500 ball and try to coast in

This won’t be a gimme game at all… plus the Browns were already gunning for us because of Chubb…

It’s going to be a long slog of a game
 
Today on Sirius XM NFL channel, Browns fan called in to talk about game Sunday. This delusional POS had the gall to mention stains defense this year in same sentence as 85 Bears and 2000 Rats. Then he doubles down by saying Garrett is “miles” ahead of TJ as DPOY candidate. Oh poor, poor Cleveland. They are so desperate for anything to say they’re better than us about 🤣

Garrett could get shut out in tackles and the Browns could get beat 57-0 and TJ could have 2 picks, 2pds 4 tfls, 5 sacks, 2ff and FR for a defensive tds and Garrett would still magically grade out better than TJ
 
I have some friends coming over to watch the game. Two Steelers fans and one ex cheat fan/ buc fan- who they hell knows who he roots for now. Lose the game and bucacheat isn't allowed back.
