It's not a player decision it is a coaching decision.

Shows the talent level when the team can finish .500 or better running this ****. Imagine what they could do with a competent coaching staff.

I'm tired of reading **** like this. Yes, KP has looked shaky but he should be able to switch out of a play if he sees an alignment he can exploit.

I look at Houston and how well they are doing with a rookie under center. I looked at them earlier in the season and thought they have no business winning. Yet here they are looking decent. Then you look at our O and it struggles game to game. Then you read a plethora of sports reporters coming out with report after report. Audibles, WR routes, RB scheme issues. We have two solid guards capable of opening holes, when teams are stacking and you don't scheme around that by creative passing you are just taking the path of most resistance. Of course it will fail. You then want your green QB to Houdini wins like Big Ben. He isn't even Big Ken. He is a QB that would thrive in a San Francisco type coaching setup. Not in a scheme predicated in Crayola creative crap.

Nobody is fooled that Canada will break out of some mysterious egg shell and thrive. Nothing in his entire tenure remotely suggests that.

Which puts a shitload of stress on a D to keep the game manageable. You know a game tweaked by Goodfail to be rich in pass capable. You sneeze and get a Minkah pass interference.


Yet here they are with their usual humdrum approach of the players just need to execute better. No the coaches just need to coach better.


They all it is, 100 percent no question.

there has been word from opposing “D’s” Tthat this is the easiest offense to defend, by far.

COACHing definately is the hold back of this team.

Give the other team the likely play (by far % wise) and that gives them the jump Something that is 5th grade stuff, YET the current coaching claims we need to execute the plays better……… kindergarten stuff.

Having our current OC is like painting a house with only a two in brush where-as the competition gets the XG3000 spray gun.

The real hard-to-believe thing here is Ben wasn't supposed to audible either. The reason he brought us from behind so many times his last year was because he stopped listening to his headset and did his own thing. I don't think KP will do that but he probably should.

BEN was a big enough persona to do just that, where-as Kenny isn’t quite there yet (both persona & ability).

When KP8 gets a SB under his belt, I’m sure things will change

I have it from a very reliable source that the Steelers don't paint with a broad brush.

Yes, except the O-Line can't block long enough for a QB to wait for a 10 yard pattern.

That would change drastically if the OC could disguise things up just a little OR the QB could audible some.

The “D” knows neither is going to happen, thus the pinned back ears, I wonder if those pins get to hurting after awhile……

It's so obvious what they're running to the other team they may as well yell the play over to the opposing team before they run it.

It's pretty much the same. Now back in the day when they had a powerful running game and a badass OL across the entire front, you could do that. They don't have that now.

It seems like our best runs are when the ball carrier runs away from the designated gap. Even they are few and far between.
