At 5-8, Mike Tomlin is on death's door in terms of going from "never had a losing season" to "coached while Ben Roethlisberger never had a losing season".

So. Unleash Hell.
Get back to the lab.
Turn over stones.
Trot out that pedigree.
Don't live in your fears, (or Ben's shadow.)
Put it on tape.
Accept the reality.
Make some popcorn.

Whatever it is you need to do there Mike.

What a ******* hater... Right coolie ?

It was time 7 years ago. Some people absolutely refuse to see what the issue is regardless of a mountain of evidence that clearly, beyond any doubt proves it. They'll still say not guilty.

All of the wishful thinking and rah rah rah won't change the reality that's been in front of your face for a very long time.

Hell had been unleashed! Haven't you been paying attention to the season? The standard remains the standard. Where can I get a pair of these? :spy:

I've been one to defend Tomlin over the years. I will admit that. It's been the last few that have soured me on him. And this year...man, stuff just doesn't make sense. For example, I don't know how you can be down by 3 or whatever coming out of half and proceed to run the offense like you are up by 20. It makes no damn sense. The refusal to even stress the other teams defense. This has to be the easiest offense to defend in the NFL. I could even accept it if you could recognize them building something in game, let alone for the future. One of my favorite things about Ron Earhardt from years ago is I felt like I could see why he ran that play or this play and later he would do something off it. This guy...might as well have my golden retriever call the plays. Just grab them out of a hat or something like she grabs socks.

And that is just the offense! They have become unwatchable to me. I've only had that feeling a couple of periods in my years as a Steeler fan, which goes back to the mid-70s. The mid-80s were bad, and '98 and '99 were just a hoot. But other than that...we are pretty lucky overall I guess.

The problem is it doesn't matter one iota if people see it or not. Like I said, I was a defender of Tomlin. I don't think I refused to see anything. I think it was more the fact that I know I have no control, it is supposed to be fun being a fan and try to find the positive. Since we have no control, you are left with trying to be positive and hope, or be miserable. Thankfully, I am not miserable over it. I have become kinda indifferent.

I am beginning to believe ARII does not watch the games, has no idea how the team is doing. He simply tunes in for Tomlin's weekly, hears a couple bon mots, and says, "That sounded fine. We're all good here."

he is taller than 5.-8 right?

Is it all just wasted time?
Can you look at yourself when you think of what
You left behind?

One of the annoying things is that he gets so much “special” treatment.

Any coach in the NFL would be HOT Seated many many times if they were in Coach Tomlin’s chair. NOT a single mention of hot seat of any kind. ZIP / NOTA

TOTAL Job Security = Complacency, can’t argue with that as we are seeing it full handed.

Well, Tomlin leads his team into the Dumpster Fire Bowl on Sunday so there is a good chance the Steelers pull out a win.

Since I’m one who always said that Shades won everything he won with Cowher’s team, I think it’s funny that he’ll have his first losing season the year after the last of Cowher’s players retired.
This amuses me.

If this is about Tomlin it has been time for about 4 or 5 years. I was in Pittsburgh when they lost to Mike Glennon and the Bucs. Everyone around the stadium after the game was like this guy has to go. That is like 7 years ago. They were right.

That “fact” I amuses me too, but the losing doesn’t…………….
