Exactly.TJ not playing would hurt
but they do have quality backups at OLB this season

Thats true, and undeniable.Tomlin gets heat not for the here and now. He gets heat for a decade of fan frustration.
You know what lessens that?
Winning
You know what adds to that? Blowout losses in the playoffs.
Stay tuned for which one...
Coming soon to a theater near you...
Damn common sense ruins the narrative...well rudy didn't make the decision to start himself
Nope. One game at a time.
Coach Tomlin has figured out how to win without Minkah and his starting ILBs.
I, for one, am going to at least give them a fighting chance...
I keep seeing/reading this.Correct! Would have been nice had shades started him earlier. Perhaps the Pats game.
You jump over the 2 if they are showing no signs of appropriate play. Mitch wasn't the starter. He was a backup you owe no backup anything. You keep them on a short leash. You shouldn't need three bad losses to realize you need a change. Halftime of game 2 of Mitch sucking it up I bench him 10 out of ten times.I keep seeing/reading this.
Explain, why would any HC jump over his #2, at the time, to insert his #3, at the time???
The whole team needs to win. Not just one person.Let us see if he remembers how to win a playoff game. It is time for him to step up..
I don't see it that way. As a matter of fact, I'm going to go back rewatch those 3 games. You jump over the 2 if they are showing no signs of appropriate play. Mitch wasn't the starter. He was a backup you owe no backup anything. You keep them on a short leash. You shouldn't need three bad losses to realize you need a change. Half time of game 2 of Mitch sucking it up I bench him 19 out of ten times.
He needs to guide this team to a win. Put them in a position to win. That is a head coaches job. Make adjustments in the game if needed. The whole team needs to win. Not just one person.
Sure rewatch them, I will save you some time though. Mitch blew chunks.I don't see it that way. As a matter of fact, I'm going to go back rewatch those 3 games.
What's the point? I want to see if the blame is only on Mitch...

I know you like Mike but any coach needs to do this. Especially one that hasn't had playoff success in awhile.
Mitch was bad, the line was bad, the defense was bad....Definitely wasnt all on mitch, but he certainly didnt do himself any favors.I don't see it that way. As a matter of fact, I'm going to go back rewatch those 3 games.

I know, we all like the whole team. Maybe minus MitchI like the whole team. Not just the HC...
Mason actually had a better training camp than Trubisky for one.I keep seeing/reading this.
Explain, why would any HC jump over his #2, at the time, to insert his #3, at the time???
Mitch played himself off the field with piss poor play. The only reason he was in the field is because Kenny got out the pocket to early and got injured.
Let's go back to Ben's career start. Can we agree that he was the best QB on the roster and was #3??? What happens if Maddox and the other bun don't get hurt??? When does Ben get his chance???
Rudy has learned and is now showing his skills. He earned his PT.
Truth is were succeptable to any and all so I guess it doesn’t matterNot worried about the speed of Hill and Waddle along with their running game?
I also suppose I got confused because it's either the Chiefs or Bills. lolTruth is were succeptable to any and all so I guess it doesn’t matter
Well if we play Buffalo hope it’s on Saturday
More rest since we played yesterday and they play late game tonight
Also there’s a 70%chance of snow in Buffalo Saturday
Snow is a great equalizerThe Steelers struggled in the rain, I prefer blue skies...
Blue skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see
