Occams razor... either:

A.) in an effort to um shame Deon Sanders or something, the NFL colluded with 32 teams to intentionally pass over a clear first round talent four times... then the team that drafted him buried him as the 4th or even fifth QB on the roster despite having clear QB issues and the coach being on the hot seat...

B.) the kid was no where near NFL ready and only barely has moderate NFL level talent.. so he doesnt warrent starts over their other rookie QB, who is a little more NFL ready

Unfortunately his “higher education” at a college didn’t help him learn what he should’ve known by the end of junior high.

I dont think that would be on the table. Unless it's automatic on an ejection which I never remember. The first of the two was ridiculous. In the end he was going to be ejected for throwing a punch. Its just that Chase should have been gone too.

I just looked it up. Apparently it’s not automatic. It’s up to league discretion, which is always a crap shoot. The [obvious] spitting SHOULD be considered extenuating circumstances.
