Damn he’s become one of the more disruptive defensive tackles in the league. We should have kept him and let Dupree walk.
It was more of a choice between him and Tuitt… and Tuitt was the better talent.. life just madevthat choice bad in retrospectDamn he’s become one of the more disruptive defensive tackles in the league. We should have kept him and let Dupree walk.

That pudding is a UFA I believe after the season. It wasn't Dupree (my bad) it was Tuitt (Litos pointed that out).
Hindsight is 20/20 and definitely looking back in rearview mirror, we should have kept him. Water under the bridge, can't put the pudding back in the box, so to speak.

Saw this tall *** big woman as I was exiting the gym yesterday. I was mulling over if she was related if she would be my aunt or uncle. I am still not sure. She reminded me of the chick from Duce Gigolo movie. Before Tuitt lost his brother the Steelers had the best one two punch inside in tge league. Thats if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle.

I didn't talk to her. I tried not to stare so not even sure if she had that apple. But that was one big *****.Was her name Lola? Did she have a deep raspy voice?

I'm all for a big FA signing if Larry O isn't offered a new contract + a high draft pick DTHe will get his paycheck, big time. Not sure we could afford him but the STEELERS have been creative in the past.

As I understand it the Steelers wanted to sign him but couldn’t afford it because of the franchise tag on Dupree. So in essence they chose Dupree for one more year rather than Hargrave long term

I made a comment to Alex Kozora on twitter that we should cut oft injured Tuitt and re-sign Hargrave. He said how dumb that would be and blah blah. I replied to the tweet after Tuitt retired. Crickets lolIt was more of a choice between him and Tuitt… and Tuitt was the better talent.. life just madevthat choice bad in retrospect
The thing is early last season we could have gotten him back…. The Eagles were willing to part with someone… though he would have likely cost us a second (which became Pickens)… the Steelers were more interested in Fletcher Cox though, but they wanted a third for him…
Honestly i think we will be happier with Leal and Pickens down the road
At the time I would have agreed with him. there is no way to have foreseen what happened. This is truly a case of hindsight here.I made a comment to Alex Kozora on twitter that we should cut oft injured Tuitt and re-sign Hargrave. He said how dumb that would be and blah blah. Except Tuitt hadn’t played a full season at that point yet.At the time I would have agreed with him. there is no way to have foreseen what happened. This is truly a case of hindsight here.
I am sure they factored in his injury past. At that point Tuitt simply was the better player. You don't ship off your better player(s). Not sure as a run stopper Hargrave will ever be on Tuitt's level.Except Tuitt hadn’t played a full season at that point yet.
Unfortunately, Tuitt never gained back from the injury. Hargrave is making a name for himself. Time will tell but back when this was taking place the STEELERS did what they felt was best. Thge brother's death gave him more open space and time than the team would have normally given..................... that is where the problem started.I am sure they factored in his injury past. I sort of was glad they gave him that space. People will say well nobody usually gets that luxury. But I wish they did have a more flexible luxury of stepping away and having time to recharge after a loss. Hard to recover from injury when your head is elsewhere. I still feel for him to this day.Unfortunately, Tuitt never gained back from the injury. Hargrave is making a name for himself.
