I think you all are leaving out Shiitbag Lyndon B Johnson on the list of worst President's.

Carter was lame, limp and ineffectual, but probably not a murderer and nowhere near as divisive as LBJ, with far less warmongering and much lesser long term baggage for the people.

He was a POS too, but when you measure how much damage they inflicted on our country Biden, Ocommie and Carter run away in the top three.

IDK Indy, his great society absolutely destroyed minority families in the traditional sense and made what was left dependent on the Federal taxpayer.

Carter WAS incompetent. But he was not a shitbag. He was naive, but he didn't just roll over and give up his *** to the Soviets a'la J'Biden.

As for the hostage situation, before you crucify Jimmy, keep in mind he'd negotiated a hostage release deal and George Bush and his CIA cronies tanked it purposefully so Reagan could look like a God when the hostages were released for his innauguration. (That's one of those ****** little conspiracy facts that most people like to ignore or deny. But it's true.)

He gave the Panama come out the canal to the people of Panama because they were poverty stricken and that gave them a way to escape poverty.
It didn't do us any favors, but it did them a lot of favors. Sure. They became one of the most corrupt spots in the world, but that's not his fault technically.

Carter was definitely incompetent. His heart was way too big and he was way too much of a hippie to be an effective president. But he wasn't a shitbag.

It makes you a shitbag for suggesting he was a shitbag. That's like saying Mother Teresa was a shitbag because... I don't even know what, because she didn't **** you.

Well ... LBJ was (at the very least) most responsible for covering up JFK's assassination. And likely he was far more involved than that.

And let's not forget that while race relations in the '60s were bad, lgb and his administration essentially laid all the groundwork for generations worth of undermining minorities, particularly black people. He was pretty terrible.

He dropped 2 nuclear bombs on civilian cities that happened to support war production in Japan.

That established the United States as the dominant superpower in the world. It also killed tens if not hundreds of thousands of people. So good for America. Not so good for Japanese folks.
 
And do we judge other countries leader's the same way?
Cause I suppose Stalin & Lenin would have to duke it out, although, Khrushchev really made the Soviet Union a terrifying world superpower, so maybe he ought to be in that battle too.
 
Wig, the people of Iran would probably judge him far more harshly than "shitbag" for enabling the overthrow of the government by the first of the mullahs that still rule in Iran. Opponents have been murdered, regional wars entered, terrorists funded/supported/armed, women denigrated/raped/enslaved, etc. all stemming from the Fuucking horrific job that Jimma did when he was POTUS.

Fuuck all that nonsense about "southern gentleman" and humanitarian.

Carter provided the American political and policy decisions that have literally encouraged the increased fuuckery and terrorism, 2 gulf wars, massive loss of human life, liberty and dignity......and no one is talking about it.

He may not be the devil that LBJ was, but he sure as hell enabled demons to come forth and multiply. He is the proximate cause for so much human misery.......
