Joe Milton to the Cowboys

If we don’t get Dart I am all for drafting two quarterbacks to fight it out with Rudolph.
Except that there is never even a 2-way QB competition, forget about a 3-way. It's too much for Clown-lin to process. It was Trubisky's job from day 1, no such competition. Obvious.

We’re not going to the Super Bowl because we didn’t trade for...

(* checks notes *)

…Joe Milton?

Really ???????? Who says?????

Sarcasm on both levels

Salute the nation

Saw where a recent anonymous NFL exec compared Dart to a “less athletic Kenny Pickett”.

Did that anonymous NFL exec happen to mention where in the draft the pick would be?

Dart is fair well worthy of a later round pick …………

I also saw a recent anonymous Quality Assurance Agency compared some of your post(s) to doodle-squat……………

Again, sarcasm meter should be on.

Milton hasa big arm is a good runner nothing more, so he is a raw Fields, kid coming was so over hyped being recruited to Michigan I remember on twitter the comparisons of the next Cam, he sucked his first 4 games and never recovered, was merely average when he transferred

I don't see that at all. Dart's stats improved every year of college (Pickett had one breakout season after starting his career average/below average). Just watching his film he looks plenty athletic, more effortless with his throws compared to Pickett, and infinitely more comfortable while under pressure. Not saying he'll be a stud in the NFL, I just think that's an awful evaluation by that NFL exec.

I must profess ennui on how good Dart is. Watched one Ole Miss game last year, don't even remember thinking about how good he was, not concerned enough to look at scouting reports, etc.

Pretty sure he is better than Skylar Thompson.

I saw the Florida game, he was Trubisky in the 4th, threw a couple picks, had 2-3 more called back because of penalties. Processing time is an issue and he likes to throw into tight windows, that is no bueno vs. NFL speed.

Milton at most would be a gadget 3 to 4 times on the field. Trust me, I remember from the day he signed at um, X insta FB were making like this guy was the next coming of Cam Newton, same frame, arm strength and runner. This guy has no pocket awareness to delicate touch for simple passes was decent at Tennessee, nothing mind-blowing that showed he can be a long-term starter. So this trade does nothing. At best, maybe new coaches on O would have figured out a way to use him, Kordell. We don't have a worthy quarterback coach who can develop anyone since MT just surrounds himself with rejects, aside from Smith. Who else would want to poach an assistant from the people we have, a lousy DC who has pretty much just copied Lebeau system only adjustment at times using 4-2-5 as a base. It's going to be Dart or Milroe will be a long project, like a new system built around him, like how Baltimore for a year created a system around Lamar.
Will Howard has the arm and size of a Herbert had great weapons and could be a sleeper and in a year say watching hopefully A rod learn how to get the ball quickly to players and perfect the deep ball.
