Why is he stupid? Getting vaccinated doesn't mean you can't get COVID still. It doesn't even lessen the chance that you get COVID, only makes the symptoms less...if you even show any symptoms at all.

I work with a guy, got vaccinated, he's currently out ten days because he has COVID.

As you pointed out, getting vaccinated doesn't do anything whatsoever to prevent him from GETTING the 'Rona. So it's not like he HURT himself by not getting vaccinated, at least in terms of getting or not getting the 'Rona.

If I made millions of dollars and my team said to get vaccinated to help my teammates, as a team leader, I would do it.

I just got my booster today, and even though I had a breakthrough case, I didn't need hospitalization or a ventilator. That was the reason I got the shot in the first place, since I have a history of asthma.

He never said he was vaccinated, he said immunized. He petitioned the league to have it count as vaccinated and was denied. I'd go into more detail, but I'll just post the link to the rundown of what he said.

I'll also say that I've never really been a fan of Rodgers myself, and I think the **** he pulled in the offseason was pathetic... but lately, with his comments about his trash talk to the bears and with this situation here, I have a bit of respect for the man.

Same here. My office manager has been out for two weeks after testing positive although she was not real sick. Her and her husband were both vaccinated. I went six months with no Covid cases at the funeral home, then I had four in October and got another one last night.
The issue I have with Rogers is that he lied about it.

Covid is different for everyone that gets it. My daughter had it and had no idea she had it. She is a college athlete and has to be tested. She has had the Flu before and it was 10x worse. So you can't just lump everyone into the same pile. The Flu has been killing people by the thousands for years and years. This should be a personal choice plan and simple. It was his choice period. The govt. or anyone else should not have a say in what I choose to do medically. If you give them the power to make those choices for us we are screwed. You will end up with you can't smoke you can't drink, you can't eat what you want. Explain to me how you pay for those that chose to not be vaccinated ?

Those who are not vacinated have a tendacy to have more severe symptoms. NOT all can pay their respective bills so thus hospitals have to eat it. The cost of care continues to go up, costing me more and more for any kind of care I may need. I also have to continually pay more and more for insurance to cover the higher cost(s) of Medical care.

Before you go all fired up about the vacinated get sick also, that is true but the severity and % is much much lower than the non-vaccinated.

I understand freedom to chose but with your decision comes the concequences that you should bear.

Not here to argue morals / beliefs / ethics / just pointing out a different view.

THIS, Rogers has always positioned himself as being "better" than anyone else both on the field and mentally (smarts) as well. His arrogance and down the nose look at everyone is what put him above touchable by the league, in his eyes. That driving factor is why he thinks he doen't need to comply.

He was turned down on his petition so he knew he wasn't complying, outright defying the league. SUSPENSION is justifiable but won't happen due to the NO integrity leadership of the NFL.

I got really sick late 2019 early 2020 as well. I worked in detail at a lexus dealership at the time and we were getting in and out of service wash vehicles that belonged to customers nationwide.


I remember a good portion of the dealership got really sick within that December 2019 and February 2020 time frame. We didn’t know what it was.

After I got over my sickness I still have days of fatigue. I chalk it up to an active lifestyle but I also think covid is to blame
