Just worked out a new corner...

You try out everyone you feel can remotely help.


Some people simply don't fit a scheme. OR wasn't coached up correctly orrrrrrrrr need a position change. Can he play SS ?


Deebo was cut how many times?


People also develop at different rates. It takes a few a year or two longer than it might take someone else.

So you don't sit on your hands with so many factors weighing in.

That isn't helping your team.

It is about building depth or finding depth in case one goes down.

Tomlin has not done well at finding talent to help us.

JFC! What will it take to get it through to some of you that it's Colbert/his staff and the scouting department's job to "find" talent during the season?!! Tomlin's job during the season is to coach. Sure, he has input on the guys brought in, but it's not his responsibility to scour the waiver/free agency wires to "find" talent, schedule workouts, etc. during the season.

All we hear is "Tomlin hasn't done this" or "Tomlin hasn't done that". Even when the "this" or "that" we're discussing falls squarely in Colbert's domain. ****, since Colbert apparently doesn't do anything, they might as well fire his *** and give the GM title and salary to Tomlin. That way he could at least have the responsibilities and compensation for the **** he gets for aspects of running/building the team that are not his responsibility; or not his "sole" responsibility.
