Kaleb Johnson Traded to the Packers

Honestly, RBs are a dime a dozen and he brought nothing outside of being an average runner..

4.0 would be near average, my eye-test says Kaleb was below average.

Salute the nation

Someone please explain how Omar Khan still has a job?

3 out of the last 4 first rd picks on OLine (plus a 2nd rounder), and the line is still in shambles.
Wasted high picks on scrubs like Kaleb, Roman Wilson, etc.
Getting scraps for Pickens

Get this idiot GM the F out of here

Johnson and a 7th this year for their 6th next year would be my guess or at least in that ballpark, maybe same year picks if Khan is really cookin. It’s not everywhere you can find a guy with skillset…how many other returners do not know live ball rules???

Anything more would be welcome

Eye test says he never was given a real opportunity. This is the NFL though....Not For Long.

No argument from me. I’ve never liked him as our GM. I think he is what he is, a very good Capologist but had no experience in actual scouting and player personnel.
Just another incompetent hire by the incompetent owner.
Andy needs to be the GM here before we lose him which probably happens after 2026 season.

Omar is doing a great job. Everybody is wrong on picks. The key is identifying it early and trading them away ASAP rather than being stubborn and trying to make them work.

Kaleb Johnson needs to be in a zone scheme. He just didn't fit what McCarthy wants. He can still be a decent player for GB. They obviously think so because with Jacobs likely suspended, they need a guy who can play now, not sit and develop.

So a great job in your eyes is drafting a guy in the first few rounds, then after realizing the guy sucks and should have never been drafted that high, trade them away in 2 years for a late round pick? Wonder why more GMs don't adopt that awesome strategy?

I don't know about a GREAT job....SMH

Kaleb was consensus 55th on the big board in 2025 and is 23 years old, maybe a team that knows how to run the ball will be able to get something out of him. The Steelers have been terrible at the ZBS for as long as I can remember.
They really only adopted it full time last year I believe. This year with a hopefully better staff and scheme will be telling. I have never loved Sone blocking personally.

I get he wasn't a Coach M pick......but the guy has 28 carries. Wish him luck. Looks like he might get a real opportunity in GB.
