Kenny and crew already working

Seems like a repeat of last year when this was organized by Mitch since this at Mitch’s place in Florida
I was wondering about that. After what happened with Dwayne Haskins last year I am a little surprised. They are doing this at the same place?

Yes, per report from another site I won’t post, they are at Trubisky’s in Florida. Remember, after Kenny was drafted, Mitch invited Kenny down last year and worked with him (after the Haskins tragedy). Mitch and Kenny appear to have grown pretty close. It’s good to see these 2 working together.

ABSOLUTELY !!!!

Regardless of what happens with Mitch’s future on this team one thing is for sure, he has handled himself amicably.
I respect that.

SAME goes for Mason Rudolf.

Its not like I think Rudolf breaks the bank here, but I think one of these teams inline to draft a Q in the first round would do well to give him good backup money with a chance to start until the rookie is ready. His body of work is small so you are saying the Steelers Coaching staff's opinion of his ability is gospel, which I do not know that it is. I do not think he is a long term starting option, but in hindsight Mitch Trubisky was salary cap overkill last year if they just needed someone to hold down the position till KP was ready. Though I do understand they did not have KP at the time they signed Mitch, I think their desire to always try to win7-9 games is a root problem. Not knowing that the Haskin's tragedy would happen nor that they would get KP, what would have been wrong with Rudolf, Haskins and a rookie if they could draft a guy they liked? How many less games would they have won if they hadn't got KP or Mitch? 4? does that really move the needle anywhere.

Any offseason work like this shows commitment. They don't have to do this, but if you really want to be polished and look like a well oiled machine, it's an absolute must.
Agreed, with the key component being the above the neck. As in if we are in this, and they show this defense, I give you this subtle look, I need you to do this. They were very locked into the play call last year with very little variation after they broke the huddle. Which is a huge issue and possible big second year jump for KP.

I fully agree but also like to add a Little out of the box perspective.

I’m glad our players are doing this but also realize most other teams players are doing the same thing. Gunner is an example, had he not participated then the odds of him making the team become way less. Good side of Kenny may come in handy.

The NFL definitely doesn’t mandate this kind of activity, but the competitiveness of the NFL does command things like this to happen. They are there out of necessity, at least to a degree.

Yeah. When they do work like this. As a fan you feel hopeful

Kenny wearing gloves?
my opinion…Tomlin really hurt KP how he brought KP in to start his career the way he did

I don’t know Scott, the players are geared to play regardless. It may have hurt him the first couple games but he got the rhythm and kept going. Most players can learn from sitting but there is nothing like actual game & speed to further that curve in a more speediated way.

By end of season, that set back has turned into a little lead.

I read a report that the shades one called them one morning and asked “what did ya have for breakfast?”..:.aka “coaching” he’s obviously got that edge getting in some offseason work too…whew, SB!!!!
