Kicking problems

I want Boz to succeed. He is hitting 61 percent of his field goals. And very few have been 50 plus. He has also missed many PATs and looked shakey on all but a few kicks. You simply cant go forward this season with him. There are 25 or more guys on the street who could hit 80 percent or more
Of these field goals.

Can we get him to a hypnotist? I'm afraid he WILL cost us a playoff game. Miss a 32 yard FG, but made a 48 yarder? Not normal and he is feeling the pressure with every kick. He looked a mess on the sidelines after the miss.

In pregame warmups, Boswell looked very good kicking to the closed end. He was terrible going toward the open end, including four misses that didn't even hit the net. His field goal attempt in that direction during the game also missed the net.

They want Boz to succeed. They also don't want to eat $4.9M in cap space. Not when they're also highly likely going to cut Gilbert after this year and pick up another $5M in cap space on top of the 8 for Shazier, 14.5 for Bell, dead money and a salary cap bump. We're looking at $30+M in cap space next year with a chance to make a splash signing for the first time in a long time, excluding Haden falling in our laps.

We will not be making a splash signing, we have a bunch of good young players that will break the bank in the next few years , Watt and JuJu for example. We will also stupidly waste 9 million by not cutting DePree and giving him the option year. The cap gets eaten up pretty quickly even without splash signings.

I think he’s damaged goods. Didn’t he used to nail field goals on the open end?

Now he can’t even hit the net? Yikes.

we cant cut him yet to much cap hit, all you do is bring in competition in camp.

I'd love for someone to explain this cap hit situation. It would cost 7something million to cut him now. 4 next. But 3 million is this year anyhow. So either way his dead money is 4something million spread out over the remaining years of his contract. They have saved 13 plus million on Bell.
