Kuwait wants to keep out Muslim terrorists.

Kuwait is worried about the possible migration of terrorists.
Pakistan's ambassador in Kuwait clarified that Kuwait hasn't placed any visa ban on Pakistani nationals.

A Geo TV report quoted Ghulam Dastagir as saying that news on social media about the ban was baseless.

He added that same news had sprung up in 2011.

Earlier, a newspaper claimed that Kuwait has banned nationals from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. It claimed that the ban included on tourism, visit and trade visas as well as visas sponsored by spouses.

Sputnik International in a report had said that Kuwait suspended the issuance of visas for nationals of Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran.

It said the Kuwaiti government told would-be migrants from the five banned nations to not apply for visas, as it is worried about the possible migration of radical Islamic terrorists.

Kuwait was the only nation to prohibit the entry of Syrian nationals prior to Trump's executive action. Kuwait City previously issued a suspension of visas for all Syrians in 2011.

A group of militants bombed a Shia mosque in 2015, killing 27 Kuwaiti nationals. A 2016 survey conducted by Expat Insider ranked Kuwait one of the worst nations in the world for expatriates, primarily due to its strict cultural laws.

As a member of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Kuwait has become embroiled in escalated tensions between the GCC and Iran. Washington has been a guarantor of GCC security since the early 1990s, according to a Congressional Research Service brief.

Not too early to get that started.

None of the gulf states have accepted any refugees citing the high rate of Jihadist/Terrorist among them.

This ^^

Amazing that Saudi Arabia and Quatar cannot take in virtually all of the Syrian refugees, isn't it? They need the labor, they clearly have the resources and room. It's almost like they know something we don't.

Led by the Saudis and Qatar, the Gulf states push the line that the refugee crisis is the outcome of Western inaction and the Syrian regime's brutality, even as they throw billions of dollars in supplies and weaponry into the Syrian jihadist cauldron to oust Assad at all costs.

Al-Ahmed also confirmed that Syrians were thought by the conservative Gulf monarchies to pose a cultural and political risk. "The Saudis worry that Syrians are a security threat," he said. "They have ideas of revolution."

Steeltime,

I have been throwing out the term Hijrah for a bit now. The Saudis know exactly what is going on.

Which is alarming to most everyone but the U.S.

Go figure

Tent city in Saudi Arabia empty whilst refugees on their way to Europe

Saudi Arabia has 100,000 unfilled, ventilated tents sitting unused while a large number of Syrian untouchables continue preparing in stuffed camps, yet decays to make them open.
The news website TeleSur reports that the 20-square-km alternative camp of Mina is used just two or three days a year to offer beds to Hajj pioneers and sits unfilled the straggling leftovers of the year.
