I thought they should have tried him at OLB from day one. Have him drop weight and just become a pass rusher. I never saw him playing DE in a 3-4.

If they move him to OLB think Anthony Chickillo. Trying to fit the square peg in the round hole. I guess he should easily be able to set the edge and play in short yardage situations but don't expect much more than that.

Making plays like a DB down the field, while weighing 270. Kirk was a unicorn ILB in that defense. Carnell Lake was fantastic as well. While Rod was great, Carnell played like Mel Blount.
