Seems like LeBeau plans like they are still at their peak when they are in there, and we get burnt. We play better with the current squad. I'd prefer to keep the guys in there as is. Better tackling, more turnovers. What say you?

you don't change what is working

I definitely leave McCain and Blake in there. Stick with the hot hand and they are playing well.

As much as it pains me to say this, YES.

Troy is my favorite Steeler....it hurts to see him struggling this season. I know it's time for him to hang it up, and I HATE it.

As far as Ike, I think he came back too early from that injury and played scared. Let him rest as well.

I like Blake a lot. The kid might not have the skill set of a guy like Ike in his prime but the effort he puts forth on the football field in game can't be overlooked. IMO Blake should be one of our starting CB's next season. The kid is only in his 3rd season and he's shown good speed, and the ability to make a splash play here or there...just like tonight when he stripped AJ Green....then recovered the fumble to boot.

These new guys are playing well, and with a hard hitting attitude. Shades of Donnie Shell, who remembers that.

I am a Blake fan. Don't hear much about him, but he expresses an attitude out there and backs it up. Good Steeler.

Ike is finished..he cant cover anymore....and hes lost his sub 4.4 speed...hes never been able to catch...so with all those attribute deteriorated, hes no longer an asset to the team...hes only good as a mentor for these younger kids..thats where we can use him...

To counter Chico's tea-bagging, Blake stinks in coverage. He's a liability. Sure he caused the fumble, but if he hadn't it was a big first down.

Taylor and Polamalu simply are not one of the four or five best DBs on the team anymore, which, unfortunately, says more about how much they've declined than how good the other guys are.

The issue I see is whether Tomlin and Lebeau can find it in themselves to effectively bench a legend like Polamalu.

keep them sat...play the hot hands!!! saturday night will be raucus in Heinz!!! Congrats steelers you are AFC North Champs once again!!!! yippeKaYay!!!

Disagree. Blake will be key during the playoffs and emerge as a force.

I don't know what's gotten into McCain.

He didn't look anything like this in Houston (or else they would have made an effort to keep him).

If we play Ike or Troy next week, we lose

I hope DLB and Tomlin aren't stupid enough to put Taylor or Troy on the field against the Ravens. If they do, Flacco will chew us up.

Troy is the best safety on the team, and he affects other teams' game plans, as recently as the Falcons game. No way he should sit if healthy.

Overall, I think our secondary still sucks and the pass rush made them look good tonight.

Idiots. Troy is still best safety on team. It's not even close. The guy at 75 percent is still a play maker. Ike I agree with. Maybe only play in in some packages on tightend. He did **** jimmy Grahm down with no catches so he could be used in some packages

Blake's left pec, "Kill or Be Killed"

Perfect attitude for a defensive back. I say, The Kid Stays In the Picture.

Troy does not have the closing speed he used to have that made up for his improvisation. He's never been a good tackler. Time to move on.

He, Troy, has made some great tackles in his career that were key stops, and he still has good hands. Whats with the tatoos? does someone believe they will make him play better? The body art does not say anything to me about the kid I liked his play on the field, that says more. I would say that what goes on in practice should decide who does what for the next week and if someone is playing better or brings more to the game he should be the one starting or playing.
