Remember when Tish James ran for New York AG on the platform of going after Trump and then was behind the ridiculous prosecution of him for lender fraud because he allegedly overstated the value of real estate in a loan application, where the lenders give zero credence to self-reported valuation and conduct their own value assessment and where Trump repaid the loan in full? I do.

So about the allegation of real estate fraud, and "nobody is above the law," and paperwork issues should be prosecuted, Tish? Remember that??



I hope she is convicted and sentenced to five years in a state prison for ACTUAL loan fraud.

Tishy not only lied on the power of attorney executed for purchase of a home in Virginia - falsely claiming it as her primary residence when she was living in New York and acting as the NY Attorney General - but also lied on other mortgage applications for a 5-unit building in Brooklyn. The difference between a single-family mortgage, a 2-4 family building, and a 5-family building is huge. 5-family units are required to be designated as commercial property, subject to much higher mortgage interest rates, higher down payments, and higher insurance premiums.

It's okay, however. Tishy's a victim of slavery (admittedly distant but still) so her punishment will be in the form of slightly reduced reparations.
 
There would be rental incomes on that property that would flow thru bank accounts and tax returns that should clarify.

She wouldn't have made a mistake on the taxes, right?
