This meme is why you guys need to never, ever let your First and Second amendment freedoms be watered down. Being in Australia, if I was to post this, and my local police/government beauraucracy were to find out, there is a good chance I would be charged with hate speech.

Nah, not much demand for Australian tax advice in the USA, plus you can't get a decent 4 wheel drive over there. Maybe if Mitsubishi start selling the Pajero Sport or Toyota start selling the Landcruiser (the proper Landcruiser, not the Prado that they pass off as a Landcruiser in the USA) and the diesel versions I'll reconsider.

"American IQ test scores have dropped during a recent 13-year period, a remarkable finding that runs counter to the well-established trend of increasing IQ scores throughout much of the 20th century.

That’s a main result reported in a new study published in the journal Intelligence, entitled Looking for Flynn effects in a recent online U.S. adult sample: Examining shifts within the SAPA Project by Elizabeth M. Dworak, William Revelle, and David M. Condon.

The study found evidence of a reverse “Flynn effect” in a large U.S. sample of almost 400,000 individuals tested between 2006 and 2018 in several ability areas. The Flynn effect refers to the well-replicated finding that IQ scores increased consistently through much of the 20th century, with increases ranging from three to five IQ points per decade."

I attribute this to the massive amount of people that base their opinions solely on their political ideology without ever considering that take may be flawed.
Admittedly, I've been known to have a knee-jerk reaction on occasion before stepping back and considering all aspects.

So, that's it, we are getting dumber.

When a culture decides to run their lives and thoughts on emotion rather than reason, the IQ has to fall. It's just the way it is.
