Went to the bar after the gym last night, blood sugar was a little low. Cinco de Mayo special was a tortilla wrap with blackened chicken, proscuitto, salami, spring mix greens, and balsamic dressing.
It's generally agreed that we don't talk politics at the bar.
Dude I know, one of the regulars, asks me about the road construction going on in town because it's a cluster****. I'm like, I dunno man, they're being awful slow about it.
He says I thought you were on town council. "Nah man, I'm a Republican, I can't get elected around here."
Lady sitting around the corner of the bar says "Are you a Republican?" "Yeah, hard-core. What about it?"
She launches into a tirade about Trump being a pedo, Epstein Island, me being a horrible person, all the usual claptrap.
We all know how Burgundy is about backing down.
I think I ran into Flog's sister.

Update:
Same lady comes into the bar last night and apologized.
"I'm sorry for being an ***hole."
Burg, being the bigger person, says "Apology accepted. I get one vote just like you do."
Her hair shaved up the sides in semi-Mohawk should have been my clue.
