I'm thinking Eagles, 30-16. We hold them to FGs... sometimes. Offense still can't get it done.
Just like the early undeserved Kenny-mania, Pickett starts getting some undeserved bashing.

I believe he'll take some undeserved bashing from the fans and media, due to a god awful play caller putting him in situations where he'll have to be heroic to convert. He won't convert many of them, since the play call will be a TE screen behind the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 8, after two runs up the middle. That means Kenny sucks, right?
 
Been busy, haven't had a chance to post much this week. So here we go!

This is the kind of game that Tomlin finds a way (or lucks into a way) to win. A game he absolutely should not win. We seem to get one of these for every three to four unexplainable losses to bottom four team. Prediction: We will find a way to win this, and Canada will be given a four-year extension or some other dumb ****.

PS - Before someone claims otherwise, please note that I NEVER root for anything other than a Steelers win. I am a homer. I want to win every game and would not cheer to lose for any reason such as to see Canada fired.

This might be the week the play sheet gets taken away from him. It needs to happen and this week if that happened and we fired all our rounds at the Eagles, yet get our butts kicked I am fine with it. At least we tried something..anything different.

I hear what you are saying but I think this week is his chance at redemption. I think this is make or break of the O'Canada show.

The Steelers haven't won in Philadelphia since the middle of the 1960's.

Let that bad juju sink in.

Also...

The 1979 Steelers who went on to win their 4th Superbowl that season also lost in Philly.

With the team they have this year it would be a monumental upset and the first win in 57 years in that town.

If we had a solid nasty line with an all pro center and tackle,I'd say they have a shot.

They have nothing from the OC,OL and a rookie qb whom that defense will bait. He will have to force the issue when they fall behind and it may get ugly on turnovers.
 
Somehow Pittsburgh gets it done, another miracle like 2 weeks ago where Kenny and mitch did something Ben could never do when they beat Brady.
Its insane to predict that but Tomlin has a knack for occasionally winning the games that he shouldn't, and losing alot of the games that look easy on paper.

Uhhh, Ben beat Brady, most notably on 31 October, 2004 as a rookie. The win also ended the Patriots’ 21 game win streak.

Ben’s record against Brady is 2-8, including playoffs.

Eagles have a really tough DL and very good outside CBs. So it is hard to run at them and throw outside. Their safeties and LBs are a bit suspect so there are opportunities throwing in the middle of the field.

That means Canada has an opportunity to tweak the offense, gameplan to attack the middle and pull off an upset. Or he can do the same **** he does every week and steelers get killed. Which will it be?

Then a week later the Steelers started a rookie QB against an Undefeated Eagles team and won 27-3
