I do not know about you guys but, after the Steelers are eliminated, I start pulling for teams to lose because I am not an interested party in pulling for any other team in the NFL. From 8 being the team I am a hater of the least to number one which would be the team that I would least like to see holding the Lombardi trophy.

#8 -- Indianapolis Colts -- They are a franchise with only two Lombardis... It would take a decade of dominance under the "neck beard" for them to come close to the Steelers' total. Andrew Luck has a neck beard... In a period of time where QBs try to be all fake and polished, there is something refreshing in that. His mom doesn't like it. His girlfriend doesn't like it. Some billy goat tied to a railroad tie somewhere is probably jealous of it.

#7 -- Carolina Panthers -- Zero Super Bowl wins. That is one of the first things I look at... It is nice to have a team you are rooting for that is number one in some measure of historical success. I also like teams that play defense. Kuechly is a stud at LB and is fun to watch. I'm not the biggest fan of Cam Newton, but he is more tolerable at this point then some of the other QBs in the playoffs.

#6 Denver Broncos -- I cannot stand Manning but it is not like he is going to win enough Super Bowls to get the Broncos up near the Steelers number of six. After the first two, it definitely becomes the lesser of evils for me in rating the teams.

#5 Seattle Seahawks -- They have a chance to repeat which I do not like normally and it would set them up for a chance to three peat which would firmly rank them as the team I'd be pulling the most against next year... I do like their style of play as a positive... pound the rock, play tough defense and have the QB make just enough plays to win is the way I like watching the Steelers play.

#4 Baltimore Ravens -- It is definitely not for any other reason than I dislike the other teams more that they are here... The dislike I have for so many of their players is too numerous to list here but they are the lesser of the other evils left in my opinion.

#3 Green Bay Packers -- Green Bay has four Super Bowls... The most cocky R-E-L-A-Xed QB in the league strikes my nerves more than any other but he is undeniably great in my book and has a shot to win three- four more Super Bowls in his career that could take them to a number greater than the Steelers. This is the reason that I tip the cup of hater-ade more towards them than to the Rat-turds.

#2 Dallas Cowboys -- I really really dislike Jerry Jones. Add that to the sixth Lombardi that they could attain this year to tie the Steelers and they would be an easy number one choice if not for...

#1 New England Patriots -- When it gets into December and the media starts talking about how great the Patriots and Behlicheat and Brady are in the playoffs, my dog runs to her cage at the mention of anything New England related. How can anyone talk of how successful this organization is when all they did was cheat to get there. A cheating that was so severe that the NFL burned every single bit of evidence to keep it from coming out in the media. Once a cheater, always a cheater... I guarantee you that they are still cheating but it just hasn't been proven yet. I hate the *'s and the only thing I dislike more is the announcers that slurp them up.

How do you guys rank them up or do you just shut down and not care at all about the NFL after the Steelers are eliminated. I will say that my Fanduel teams will adjust it a little bit this year but I would rather lose my money there (albeit I bet small) than have the Patriots or Cowboys get to the Super Bowl.

I think there is a thread on this, but I root for the first four to get eliminated............

But care little once the Steelers are eliminated...........

8. Colts. my gf is from Indiana and it was pretty good times when she was doing the "Suck for Luck" thing.
7. Broncos. Been a Peyton fan since seeing him start as a freshman at UT.
6. Carolina. Small market team... Colts and Carolina in the Super Bowel will make Goodell's sphincter itch
5. Green Bay. Another small market team, but the fans are dedicated. WTF sits in negative temperatures to watch a goddamn game?
4. Seattle. Not a big fan of Carroll, but he's more tolerable than the remaining coaches and teams.

Could not give a flying **** less about the remaining teams
3. Baltimore. At least they play D
2. Dallas. makes me puke
1. New England. I hate them.

Anybody but the Ravens Cowboys or Patriots

The list works for me. Brady doesn't deserve to be in the group of Montana and Bradshaw with 4 super bowls rings. Those pricks don't even deserve the ones they have. In fact they are the ones that have me firmly convinced the NFL is bullshit. After that the Rats and Joe I am not even close to being the best qb in the league Flacco can take a flying leap.Purple is just a god awful football uniform color too. I could deal with dallas winning over those two. That just means we must get no.7&8 asap!

I hate the Rats more than the Pack. Other than that, you're list is pretty much spot on.

Rats v. Pats*, hard to root for anything except a meteor to hit the stadium. If you put a gun to my head I'd favor the Ratbirds. At least they beat us fair and square, unlike Belicheat and the Pats* (Don Shula says so).

With Detroit out I'll root for Carolina in order that a team with a losing record might win the Super Bowl.

If I had to root for anything it's probably Luck vs. Rogers although if I have to watch any more State Farm commercials my head is going to explode.

Ravens have to be the worst for me. By far. I just hate the Ravens. If Flacco goes 4-0 again in the playoffs and I have to listen to years of how much of "winner" he is, I'm going to shoot myself. I really might.

While I respect how the Seahawks play, I just really don't like Carroll at all and I hate their colors and I hate their stupid 12th man crap and listening to a year of dynasty talk is going to annoy me.

I can live with Belichick/Brady again after their so many recent close calls. I can live with Manning (although I don't see it happening). I can live with Dallas just to prove the Romo/Jones naysayers so wrong (who I think really exaggerate how bad they both are at their jobs).

I am rooting against Carolina just because I think it would be embarrassing to have a 7-8-1 team win the Super Bowl.

So favorite would be Packers vs. Colts

Least favorite: Seahawks vs. Ravens

I can live with anything else.

Panthers / Colts
Just because they are the least of the teams.

Salute the nation

#8 Carolina Panthers -- I think it would be funny for a team that had a losing record in the regular season to win the Super Bowl but I don't think they get by Seattle.

#7 Indianapolis Colts -- I don't feel much one way or the other about the Colts. They beat the Bengals, so that's a plus for them.

#6 Seattle Seahawks -- As was said above, this team plays football the way it was meant to be played.

#5 Denver Broncos -- Manning makes good commercials and is somewhat personable. After the last Super Bowl I felt sorry for them.

#4 Green Bay Packers -- I could live with Green Bay winning it all but will settle for them knocking out the Cowboys.

#3 Baltimore Ravens -- I don't really hate the Ravens as much as some on this board - I'm on their side against New England in any case. I'd rather be beaten by the team that ultimately won the Super Bowl - takes a little bit of the pain away.

#2 New England Patriots -- I truly despise the Patriots and hope Baltimore knocks them off. I had no greater pleasure than watching them wilt during their 18-1 season. Thank you, New York.

#1 Dallas Cowboys -- I've been watching football for quite a while and the Cowboys are the team I hate the most, bar none. I watch Super Bowl X and XIII over and over. Super Bowl XXX, not so much.

I am rooting against Carolina just because I think it would be embarrassing to have a 7-8-1 team win the Super Bowl.

Well, the Pats* are the only team to lose a SB to a 9-7 squad....so losing one to a 7-8-1 team would be so deliciously funny. But, the Panthers have no friggen shot. Cam's banged up and his accuracy is all over the place and their offense pretty much sucks.

I haven't hated the Cowboys in a long time. Don't really care who gets there for the NFC. Anybody but the rats or marsha for the AFC. A flukey Carolina Indy SB would probably be best for me.

Once the Patriots are eliminated I will be happy.

After that I would want Ravens and Cowboys to lose.

Wouldn't bother me at all for any of the other remaining teams to win. I actually like Seattle now, they play football like my Steelers used to.

Carolina - would be funny for a team with a losing regular season record to win it all.
Indy
Green Bay
Denver
Seattle
Dallas
Baltimore
New England - the long avoided Noll/Bradshaw comparisons would be excruciating.

Have to agree with most here - I hate the Pats the most. At the beginning of the week, I said I didn't care who wins between Rats and Pats, but now I think I'm leaning towards the Rats. Just because I think the Pats are going to the Super Bowl if they make it past the Ravens. If the Ravens win, they have a decent chance to lose the following week and will definitely lose should they make it to the SB.

I don't hate Dallas any more. I do hate their fans, but the team itself has been kind of fun to watch this year. I don't really want them to win the SB, but I would root for them over the Patriots for sure.

Colts
Panthers
Broncos
Seahawks
Packers
Brain explodes at inability to compute the order of the top 3.

Hmmm lemme try.
8. Carolina-I've actually always kind of liked the Panthers, as far as NFC teams go. I think it would be pretty cool to see them win the Superbowl, especially since they finished the season under .500:D

7. Indianapolis - I like watching Luck play, have never harbored any sort of hate for the Colts

6. Seattle - As has been mentioned previously, I love the way Seattle plays, the defense is exquisite and makes me long for the days when Pittsburgh had such a fearsome crew on D.

5. Broncos - I really dont "like" Denver, but I dont hate them like some of the others, either. Still, I'm starting to tire of the Broncos, I wish they would go away for a couple seasons.

4. Green Bay - I have always had a certain level of "dislike" for the Pack. Their fans are beyond obnoxious and the "football team from a small town" schtick is beyond worn out for me. I love watching Green Bay lose.

3. Dallas - 12-15 years ago, they'd probably have been #1, so I guess my outright hate for them has lessened just a teensy weensy bit. That being the case, if the Cowboys play either of the following 2 teams, I'll be firmly cheering on Dallas.

2. New England - **** them all, end of discussion

1. Rats - I hate this team with every fiber of my soul, and in no way shape or form, could I EVER root for the ravens to victory. **** their purple jerseys, **** that stupid-*** red-eyed bird on their helmet, **** their players, coaches, front office and fans (except for Ed:cool:)

4. Green Bay - I have always had a certain level of "dislike" for the Pack. Their fans are beyond obnoxious and the "football team from a small town" schtick is beyond worn out for me.
I dunno, that sounds kinda like us.

Prepare for an avalance of hate…

Cowboys: Most Hated Team Prize = Gold

As a Steelers fan in Texas, I can’t help but be surrounded by the most obnoxious, pom pom waving but football-illiterate fans around. And they’ve been like that for decades. Now that they’re winning, it’s like someone pulled an old refrigerator out of a corner and all the roaches scattered about. I hate J Jones, and I would gladly take a misdemeanor assault rap if I could just get close enough to him to punch him square in that freaky-looking mug of his. Hate about everything else about this team: players (obnoxious ********… from “Hollywood” Henderson to Irvin and Sanders to now Dez Bryant); their claim as “America’s Team” (Steeler fans know the true story behind that, though); their new stadium/mecca/homage to JJ, with a videoboard sized to match his ego, and those gay male “cheerleaders” in blue jeans and 10 gallon hats (Brokeback anyone?).

Ravens: Most Hated Team Prize = Silver
Brian Billick was smarmy and extremely egotistical back in the day. Harbaugh has taken that and elevated it to a HNL (‘hole ‘nother level). Not only that, he is the whiniest *****-man I’ve ever seen. Also, he could lose 14 games a year, but if he beats the Steelers twice, he wouldn’t lose any sleep. He’s obsessed with the Steelers. I hate him. Players: Need I mention Murder Ray? Biz Markie/Elephant Man Suggs? Bert Flacco? Could any other player(s) in the league elicit such dislike?

Patriots: Most Hate Team Prize = Bronze
For all the cheating and subsequent squashing of the evidence, Belichick and his stupid hoodie and monotone pressers and supposed genius, stupid Boston fans… all those take a back seat on the hate meter to metrosexual Brady. Tuck rule? Turtlenecks? Phantom penalties against him?

Any of the remaining teams winning the SB would be tolerable.
