Looks like BUSH is a little “razor burn” sore…….

My initial reaction was that Edmunds shouldn't be included. But upon further review it's all very accurate. The only guy on the list tgat pisses me off is Bush. The other guys weren't good enough to have first round grades. Bush lacks heart.
Yes, I thought the same thing that Bushy does indeed lack heart.

And size, and strength, and dedication to his craft, and, after the injury, agility and speed.

So... Bush's departure reminds me of another former Pittsburgh LB, drafted by the Steelers, spent his first 4 years here, then left for the Seahawks in free agency:

The circumstances of both departures are different, but what speaks to me are the distinctly different attitudes towards their former team.

Excellent find suncitysteel, thanks for posting this.!!

Bushy, Uncle Jarvis, Artie Burns Toast, Terrell Edmunds, all have have one thing in common. Huge draft day overreachs that were drafted far too soon.
The best of the bunch was Edmunds and he was ok, serviceable but nothing worthy of first round pick.
Bushy said all I needed to hear when asked about if Steelers would pick up his fifth year option when he said he’ll be playing somewhere in the league.
In it for a paycheck and will be out of the league in a season or two. He’ll get another chance because of where he was drafted.

Keep in mind that Edmunds was a 5 year starter and an EXCELLENT team mate with no injury problems. NOT a bust, but not a star either.

How many 1st rounders start 5 years with no injury problems, yet alone are in the league for 5 years?

I'm just saying Edmonds could have been a reach, but he did play above average ball.

I just read one. Bush says he has no idea why the Steelers didn't pick up his fifth year option. I'm really questioning the team's film if he has no idea why they didn't pick up his option. I don't even know how he got through sessions. Like how about you take a ****** gap you stiff.

I remember seeing his workouts and was surprised at the lack of muscle tone. Especially for a smaller type LBer.

A Pillsbury Doughboy playing backup ilb for Seattle.

All I can say is he is no longer a STEELERS player and I could care less of his prowess amongst those in-bred Seattle fans.

jarvis lacked athleticism but he never stopped trying
artie got beat and lost all confidence
bush lacks a ******* heart and is scared of getting injured again

Exactly how I saw it. I never hated Uncle Jarvis. It wasn't his fault that he wasn't good enough and they over drafted him. Bush however routinely did not engage in the run basically waiting for an olineman to take him out of the play. What I laugh at with Tomlin is that the story of Jarvis and Devin was basically the same. Anyone with eyes could see both were stiffs more then a year before he actually benched them.

And this is a team that is still renowned for "drafting well"? I wonder how long that will hold up before the sports media starts to catch on.

Thank goodness poor drafting doesn't seem to occur as often on the offensive side of the ball.
Or does it?
Off the top of my head it's been Kendrick Green. I'm not sure how last years starting O line were obtained. Too lazy right now to look it up.

If the Seahawks get anything out of Bush you know there is a teaching problem.

Fully agree, but I think this one will fall om the BUSH. I think he is done unless he rededicates himself totally.

I don't see coaching being the "IT" factor in the BUSH.

Has he not seen this video?

So why are they looking to replace most of it?

Good counter point.

Last season the OL did seem to improve and I'm sure that is what Litos was referring to.

Obviously.... not enough and the brass is instilling a "RUN" dominant mentality, thus the OL changes.

THEY want better, but that doesn't change the fact that they improved last season.

Because they were hot garbage. Then they were average. But that's not the point, it was that they improved during the year

But not to the point where they could get them above the line of acceptabity. I would say that some were Average. Daniels was above. If we are going to pretend that Tomlin's teams have coached their way out of problems with groups as opposed to just replacing their way out let's just end this discussion right now. Because we will never convince the other on that point.
