We will start the season next year in New England for the Thursday Night opener. They showed a list of their home games for next season and we are by far the marquee match-up. Prepare to start 0-1.

I like that thought, but with Jarvis and Worilds as our OLB's, we aren't getting to brady, I don't care if Buddy Ryan or Bud Carson is the DC.Hows about we start 1-0 and knock Brady out for his career?
Pass that **** over hereHows about we start 1-0 and knock Brady out for his career?
This has been rumored to be the case over the last week. It does make sense. The only other potential choices I could see would be the Jets or Eagles.

Shouldn't be a problem since that feeble old man retired. I'm sure Butler's brand new schemes will befuddle Brady and co.
we're getting Bernard Pollard?Hows about we start 1-0 and knock Brady out for his career?
Peter King seems to think so

Peter dismisses the Jets, but I don't totally rule them out for a few reasons. 1. The NY tv market 2. The Boston/NY rivalry 3. Division rival 4. Jets have a new head coach. If you just go by last year's records, yeah, it seems silly. But we'll see what they pick. If it's the Steelers, I don't totally mind it. Probably better to get that game out of the way early.
The risk of a blowout is too big with the Jets. I'd think it would be us or the Eagles. We're the heavy favorite because we're the only team on their schedule with a quarterback.

Pats* with Brady average almost 32 points a game against the Steelers. For games in New Cheatland, that average goes up to almost 40 points a game. Steelers kept Brady under 20 points just once in his career, and that was in Pittsburgh back in '11.
What does that have to do with anything? I'm sure Brady & Co. will light up the scoreboard against us again. It doesn't change the fact that the NFL would rather have Brady vs. Big Ben than Brady vs. Geno Smith or whatever another garbage QB the Jets might start next season.
You said the Jets had too much potential for a blowout. The point was that there's a greater risk of a blowout with the Steeler D out there. And if the offense that showed up against the Rats shows up, that risk goes up even more. And if Bell gets a suspension, pretty much that same offense will face the Pats*.
You're just a ray of sunshine today, aren't ya?
