Mason Rudolph

I think you got this wrong. Pickett was supposed to “earn it” over Russ. He chose to leave.
Sure he asked to be traded but he had zero control over that. Steelers chose to move on from him.

They better make Wodgers earn it. Rudolph was known to throw the pigskin a 1/4 mile.

Somebody needs to photoshop A-Aron’s head onto Uncle Rico for that scene.
One of the great supporting characters of all time. It’s also funny how he throws the steak like a girl.

The Lions game defined Mason Rudolphs career...
and it shouldn't have. He was thrown into the starting role the night before after the whole gameplan had been installed and couldn't be changed for his tendencies. He didn't lose that game anyway, he had us in position to win.

It’s literally the point. He asked to be traded. The Steelers have made it abundantly clear they don’t want players who don’t want to be here.
So you think the Steelers have moved every single player that approached them about being traded because at some point their feelings got hurt?

Who have they kept that requested a trade? AB? Pickett? Pickens?

So yes. If you request a trade you get traded.

So you are privy to everything convo in the Steelers front office?

If Pickett wasn't moved you might never have heard about it.

That would be a horrible way to run an organization. So if our 1st round pick this season today asked to be traded do you think the Steelers move him?

He is a back up quarterback, and he is paid to be ready no matter what

sorry that game defined him he was not ready

He was the quarterback.

He has one job to do

He did not do it that is what the scoreboard said

That is why Mason Rudolph is still a back up quarterback

go back and watch the game.

you wont. Mason did more than enough to win the game. DJ fumbled the win away and then Muth fumbled the win away.

Man this is drama.

No one is defined by 1 game. thankfully. Ben had some **** games. Bradshaw had some **** games.

He was the QB that put them in position to win twice.

He did his job.

go back and watch the game. (He did his job)
HE DID NOT DO HIS JOB....He was the QB of record so QUIT arguing

Quit trying to change the FINAL score...HE TIED AN 0-8 team...

He had one job to do and he sucked at it that day....He tied an 0-8 team and touched the ball every offensive possesion...EVERY OFFENSIVE POSSESSION...You get that?

Stop with revisionist history....Wikipedia still says the game ended in a damn tie...

And a back-up certainly is defined by their opportunities & if they got the win or not....

If you can arbitrarily define Rudy as a failure based on 1 game that you feel strongly about, can you realize that many members here feel just as strongly that your posts and many admissions of being an arse qualify you for similar judgment?

Stay on the subject...Mason Rudolph up till now, is a mediocre, middling back-up Qb defined by a tie...

Tying an 0-8 LIONS team defined his career...

He did not get the win, he did not get the loss, he got a tie...A tie to a winless team.

Mason Rudolph as I said numerous times, up till now, is a mediocre, middling back-up Qb defined by a tie...

All your bitccching & moaning doesn't change that fact...

He got his team in position to win. Twice.
Dj fumbled Muth fumbled. Mason made the right pass.

Who did the steelers pick with the KFP trade picks?

I heard KFP won a Super Bowl…….. ?

Why did we trade a SB winning QB away ?

Salute the nation

He got a tie as the QB of record....Mason Rudolph is mediocre back-up QB that tied a ZERO win team..It defines his career up till now...

STOP ARGUING...He did not lead us to victory

You are proving my point more & more with each post

Go back watch the game 5th request. I have done so. Mason was not the problem.
If you rewarch the game you will agree.

I WATCHED IT LIVE...I was yelling at Mason all damn game cause he was a damn statue & looked like a deer in headlights half the game. He left alot of plays on the field

Guys...QB's get the credit or blame...Sorry, that is how it goes...

You say you watched the game and he was a statue. Not 1 person who watched the game would have called him a statue.

He averaged 9 or 10 yard per run. Certainly not a statue.
Watch the game and you will see that Mason was not the problem.

Adding

Your fixation with him on this one game is really weird.

But if Ben got the tie, you and others would have blamed Muth and DJ…otherwise Ben would have gotten the W.
I have no doubt
