Master Teague III signed to the practice squad

Pretty sure that is how it will play out. Teague out shinned Snell in camp / pre-season.

Injury is what slowed him down.

Snell doesn't dance at the line of scrimmage like Najee does. He provides less "splash " . Tomlin loves splash play. Teague is working on his dance moves.
 
You actually need a line who can blow open holes and a back with speed to get big yard running plays. They haven't had a back with speed who could use it since Fast Willie Parker.
 
Master Teague can be a Wrapper if he doesn't make it in the NFL.

Sometimes candy comes in it, other times burgers. Apparently it is such a fun phenomenon that people carry on tunes while engaging. I have witnessed such an event. Ol girl and I are eating take out. I probably had Chinese food, she had a burger. She takes it out of the wrapper and takes a bite of the burger. Next thing I know she is humming acting like she was dancing. I am like WTF.

Out of curiosity, what did McFarland do in preseason to get him the forever practice squad suit? The games he did play in the preseason he looked fine compared to what he looked like a few years ago. Looking up the numbers of the 3 games he played he averaged 5.7yards a carry overall. Looking at the all 22, he was pretty decisive and not dancing, running tosses and sweeps with authority and speed as well as running up the gut with some descent success. Why would they not look his way and see what you have on game day?

Does anyone know if Teague played special teams in College? That is Snell's best value and short yardage but I think the Steelers are happy with Harris as a short yardage back. But if Teague can play special teams I would love to have him compete for the #3 spot in 2023.

I'm not positive but my memory says Teague did play ST's in college. I could be wrong though.
