Broderick Jones could become expendable after this year. Fautanu, Cook & Iheanachor are already ahead of him on the Depth Chart IMHO. And you've got a couple other guys who could do spot duty if a player is injured. Jones will probably stick around this season as the cap hit if they cut him is $5.3 Million but he's gone after this season! He will go down as one of the Worst #1 picks of the Mike Tomlin era. He's right up there with Jarvis Jones, Artie Burns, Devin Bush, & Kenny Pickett! IMO Devin Bush was the worst of the bunch because we gave up next year's #1 pick to get him. I can't believe the guy is still floating around the NFL 7 years later. Kenny Pickett was HOT GARBAGE too as was Uncle Jarvis....I can still see him not filling the gap on that Cowboys vs Steelers game where Big Ben faked the Spike and tossed it to AB for what should have been the Game Winning TD. It was Uncle Jarvis who didn't fill his gap on Zeke Elliot's TD run with under 1 minute to go in the game that cost us that loss! I think it was that play or lack of it that brought James Harrison back to Pittsburgh!

Besides Heyward, TJ, Troy, Pickett, Harmon and Broderick, None of the Tomlin 1st round picks are even in the league anymore. Tomlin couldn't pick a 1st round skill guy if his life depended on it.

Just going to play devil's advocate about early play. Because I believe he will play sooner then later. Broderick Jones looked same first year. I forget who was manning the right tackle at the time. He said something stupid vs. The Texans and got Tomlin Doghoused (even though other players did ridiculous ****) and Jones got inserted early.......how'd that turn out?

Yeah...but Okorafor wasn't any good, either. Is he out of the league now?
 
I checked. He's with the Jets. I remember some dustup with NE.
