Miller to IR and Guard signed

Dotson appeared to reinjure his ankle yesterday. He may be gone if that's the case.
They sort of need dotson cause Green seems better suited to a finesse blocking scheme and we absolutely are trying to go more power moves now. Its not just steering tge rush its trying to stonewall it, and I don’t know if Green will get by on technique alone… the good news is i think this is going to be a much better runblocking unit… but yeah, if green starts getting manhandled then you need Dotson

Yeap, Green was a miscast from the get go.

Steelers bolstering their interior a little by picking up Dunkle and McCullom off waivers. Both are road grader type run blockers and a bit of a liability in pass blocking. That leads me to believe a little more in the Rudolph trade rumors. He's more of your classic pocket passer while Trubisky and Pickett are more of your move the pocket kind of QB's. Qb's that can move the pocket can protect a bad pass blocking offensive line. I think Rudolph better show he can roll out if he wants to keep his name in the starting competition hat.

I concur.. i think Rudolph was a good fit for Ben’s backup, but he has peyton manning’s speed and moves as a runner lol…

I think it just would be best for him to go get actual exposure elsewhere before he is a ufa next season… I think barring a camp injury, he won’t get an actual shot here

Can you handle that big boy?

Sask, I know you did not ask me but the camp reports I have seen indicate that Harvin is crushing punts. One report, for example, indicated he was punting from the endzone and reaching the opposing 20. He is having hang-time of 4.6 seconds and more.

I think he is a weapon this year.

Presley best get his **** together as we need punting that can actually help us. We got rid of our last punter in hopes of huge improveent. lets see that happen. Remember this is a job and a business as we all have things in our lives and we deal with them. (yes i'm compassionate) He has "time-wise" had enough to deal with his personal and now is time for work.

With all that said I'd say Presley will have a year we expected out of him as to the draft pick we used on him. Pro-bowl, maybe not but I still think he will be in the top 1/3 of the NFL and possibly 10.

Salute the nation
Word from camp today was he has been crushing the ball consistently with great hang time. I am hoping a year of faith will pay off like it did for Boz and not getting rid of him after his one bad season. Punters rarely succeed in the first year.

missed your post. Great minds blah blah blah.

Thing is then, why the F do you draft a Najee in Round 1?
Why draft a McFarland?
Hell for that matter - why draft Moore? Moore is neither road-grader nor a pass-rush technique blocker? he does not have Ogden-like mass; why draft him? Sometimes Chuks gets more push off the line than Moore does.

Why draft any of these guys when you are not thinking about converting to an outside zone running game?

Call me some. Explain to me how you think he could be worse quantitatively. I don't want to hear about his father. That was unfortunate but has nothing to do with what you said. You watched the guy punt on Saturday. Now explain to me how he was worse than Pressley Harvin III. And his name is Pressley. Percy was a receiver but I ain't even gonna hold that against you cause I say it all the time too.
Harvin's net average was one of the worst in the league and there wasn't much wrong with the cover team. Case closed.
Meh...I you know who I was talking about.

Pressley ain't going no where.

Send me some of dat maple syrup!!!
