Minkah bold statement

And, who threw out the old BS line about it being "communication"?

We were told that Tomlin is a great communicator.

They had 10 days to prepare for this game. 10. You saw what having a HOF QB did to cover up a coach who struggles to plan or adapt.

1) I a so glad to have the courtesy of being able to watch said HOF QB.

2) does it really surprise you on the preparedness of the 10 vacation team.

3) I know Tolin is here for awhile and also know O'Canada is here till at least end of season, why wait so long. Can O'Can-ada now.

4) One of my 1-armed **** flinging monkeys can call a better offensive game than what has been being called.

I, for one, admit I was wrong in pinning the offensive woes on an aging Ben Roethlisberger. It’s now evident he was single-handedly responsible for carrying that offense.

When you stack Minkah‘s comment with JuJu’s, it’s concerning. JuJu wasn’t throwing shade (intentionally). He was praising the offensive mind of Andy R., which I think speaks even louder. Also, someone on this board casually, sarcastically referenced Tomlin’s coaching tree. But seriously…how many ‘BAD’ coordinators have we had? How many scapegoats chasing that right candidate?

Just Minkah stepping out of bounds again....lol

Agree good on him
For weeks we hear about sticking with Mitch from Tomlin
Then all of a sudden you need a spark ............. could of said that in each of the other games as well
Then you run the ball 3 times unsuccessfully in getting a 1st down and ask the rookie to get a 4th and 1 from his own 31 yard line ......... Tomlin is so ****** up with his gut feelings and challenges it is incredible to listen to his babble. I could care less about Kenny's 1 st int as it was better than any punt would have given us for field position had we punted on 4th down. Claypool was in a position to make a play and didn't. I was a big advocate for the dude when drafted and the first year he showed promise........now I call him out for his poor body control and inability to bring in a pass in traffic at his size. Couldn't box out a 9 year old on a basketball court most of the time

Earn your opportunities big boy ............ Pickett to Pickens will be heard often going forward ..... everyone else needs to step up and make a play for the young QB

All I know is that he looks natural back there and can scramble
Let him lead the OFFENSE

and Minkah the DEF

EXCELLENT Post Paul and very correct along the way, thank you

I initially didn't want Picket but understood when their guy fell to them and they had to take him. He is showing poise and playability in his first action. I think he just keeps picking up things as he gets experience. There is no doubt that he is the BEST qaurterback on the roster so let him be that QB.!!!

Claypool is wearing thin iny book. He said he dedicated himself to work his skills needed to make and be that impact WR durring the off-season. He needs to turn that arrow in an upward direction and possibly toothpick his eye lids open and cactus between his butt-cheecks to keep him from jumping to make a catch..

Carry on my fine Canadian friend.

Kid does have poise. Unfortunately, you have to take the f*ck-ups with the dart passes.

i hope Pickett doesn't get discouraged. it's gonna be one of the toughest seasons a rook has had in a while here. i hope he doesn't get annihilated by either the linemen or the playcalling.

Buck-up kid, it's a LONG season in the NFL.

The O'Canada factor is the biggest default in the equastion. If somehow Pickett can over come that magnitude of down, then we may have just found our new Franchise QB.

I, of course, always wish / want our players to over-exceed perceivd abilities. I want Kenny to last longer than O'Canada in hopes that a new OC can actually do, you know OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR's job.

All I want for Christmas is a competent coaching staff.

Not gonna be a good Christmas for you this year sadly. I would say there's always next year but the odd's are not in your favor there either.

Two points. Lebeau finished with aging players and at least to some extent having the head coach want to insert his vision.
Lebeau had finishing blitzes to end games with reasonable players. Like the Jets would have been dusted on one of those 4th downs.
