Pittsburgh Post Gazette Gerry Dulac reporting that Trubisky and Dionte Johnson got into a heated argument at halftime of Jets game prompting Tomlin to pull him for Kenny.
DJ was reported to have complained he wasn’t getting the ball and Mitch confronted him about it. It went from there and got out of hand.
Dulac is generally a good source and is reliable. Been covering the team for a long time.
I’ll try and post the link.

It's a good read so take the time to read it.

Remember we only have hear-say from Dulac and i'd think he wasn't present for the heated dispute.

In any event I hope those two can get it worked out and if Coach Tomlin needs to step in the he dang well better. I think it will be made clear to all who and how this will play out on the field, like it or not. If Mitch keeps hitting Claypuff and they move the chains, then it becomes more controversial. Good problem to have but I see Mitch spreading it around to a degree, until DJ muffs an easy peezy.

It was a good read. Interesting that was the reason shades pulled him rather than being ineffective play but who knows.
Mitchy will have the opportunity to see if he can parlay this into two straight games.
Either he is reborn or he’s like Ryan Fitzpatrick where he has like a three game shelf life then returns back to being Mitch.
We shall see but I think this is fools gold and not long term.

This makes more sense than the poor play pulling… Tomlin was adamant about that, but its more signs that wrs have a lot of pull here… though to be fair Mitch was a short timer and tgey had just extended DJ…

Well I hope they kiss and make up because there is a football game to prepare for.

Shades has to appease the shiny new toys he’s drafted.

Probably a combination of the argument, QB stats at the moment, and the crowd cheering for Kenny. Kenny got to play in the big league and that's good for his experience.

I like that Mitch seems to be a team player, as does Mason. Honestly, I'm shocked there doesn't seem to be any QB drama between the three. Hopefully, we beat the Fins.

Maybe Tomlin was going to pull him anyway, and the heated exchange was coincidental.
This is what I believe to be true.

Diontae: "Throw me the damn ball you dumb ***, erratic *****!!"
Mitch: "Listen Papa Smurf, I'd throw you the ball if you could actually catch it. It's always 40/40 whether you catch it or not."
Diontae: "See! Like I said, you are D.U.M.B. ... DUMB! It's 50/50, not 40/40"
Mitch: "For any other WR it's 50/50. For you, there's a 40 percent chance you catch it. A 40 percent chance you drop it. And, a 20 percent chance you do something that leads to an interception."

This brought to mind the Ben vs AB confrontation.
We all know whose fault that was. Bens of course.
DJ is like AB light… really good but not quite as good… great rout runner, but not as good as Brown… not as good hands, not as good on the sidelines… obviously not as good at being a diva either… lol AB called out future HOFr Ben Roethlisberger while DJ calls out Mitch Trabisky…. Everything he does is just a step below AB lol…. Im pretty certain one day a story is going to come out about DJ tossing a lawn chair off of a back porch

He picked up a chair and moved it a few feet, but did it violently... in his mind. It took a while as once he grabbed the chair he backed up trying to reroute to the back porch but ultimately came up short.

Maybe! One things for sure, we’ll never be told.
I did think it odd that with no preparation, no first team snaps that he made the change when he did. I always thought it would be after the bye week.

Me too but this helps make a little sense. I'd sure hope that whatever happened and DJ & Mitch have put it behind them and left their rear-view mirrors at home.

Roethlisberger had a way of telling the WR divas to ****-off.

I really don’t care…I’m still on the Trubisky bandwagon. We have 2 wins and he was biggly involved in both of those wins.

I don't believe this, but if the report is right holy inmates running the asylum Batman...

How weak would Tomlin look if an under preforming receiver can pick a fight with Trubisky a team captain and get TRUBISKY benched instead of the other way around!!

If it's true for the love of God someone start screaming at Canada!

I will have to admit that I was wrong on that one. It was my bias against all the Big Ben drama he created over the years but on this one we had no idea how bad “Mr Small Chest” was acting on and off the field.
