Mitch vs DJ

DJ is like AB light… really good but not quite as good… great rout runner, but not as good as Brown… not as good hands, not as good on the sidelines… obviously not as good at being a diva either… lol AB called out future HOFr Ben Roethlisberger while DJ calls out Mitch Trabisky…. Everything he does is just a step below AB lol…. Im pretty certain one day a story is going to come out about DJ tossing a lawn chair off of a back porch
A step below also by the fact that Mitch and DJ had their little spat in the locker room whereas AB was having a major tantrum on the sideline for all to see.

AB was leading the entire league in receptions and yards by the time he was 26. DJ is turning into his own little mini-diva at the same age, except he's not making all the plays like Brown did.

I applaud Mitch for standing up for himself. Like I said after the Jets game, if those two plays were made by Johnson (catching the ball that ended up being an INT, and getting his second foot down in the end zone), like a true #1 receiver would, the outcome might have been very different.

DJ couldn't sniff AB's jockstrap (if they still wore them). He's not AB Light, he's an AB wannabe.

In my opinion though we are wowed by their skills, top receivers are arrogant, whiney *******. But the ones that are level headed total team oriented guys are generally, but not always good try hards. The former are always open. I've witnessed them throw to DJ when he wasn't the least bit open.

This makes more sense than the poor play pulling… Tomlin was adamant about that, but its more signs that wrs have a lot of pull here… though to be fair Mitch was a short timer and tgey had just extended DJ…
I don’t think it makes any sense at all. Benching the team captain because a WR throws a temper tantrum? That’s a seriously bad look for Tomlin.

I have a hard time believing any of this. If Johnson started the BS with his selfish throw me the ball, when he continues to drop balls at the stage, then why did Tomlin not punish him as well. Do have to remember Tomlin allowed AB to do as he pleased from training camp to end of year. If this did happen shows how out of sync and players not playing as a team, we have been. Sure, makes Tomlin not very in control.

with Mitch not being a draft pick here, Tomlin may be more apt to pull him.
if there was a spat between Sawftee and Mitch, then I could see Tomlin deflecting to the guy he knows better and is more invested in - DJ

He could have been considering the move and if Trubu lost his **** he felt he was rattled. Kenny played pretty good and he made the move. Let's get self honest despite my Super Bowl last weekend this team is still a mess.

Like to understand Coach T's decision making on this....

It takes two to tango...but only one sits on the bench?

Or maybe I missed the reason why?

Without being there, none of us can say how and what was done or said. Based on how it went Tomlin could have been entirely justified. We just don't know. A captain and QB would be held to a higher standard of leadership and if he wasn't living up to that that is on him. From the huddle reports he did no have good control there, maybe this was a symptom of those issues.

If it were (true), do you think that I would share it with you in this environment? Probably not.

Tomlin's response from today's presser

That is a noncommittal acknowledgment that it happened… had it not happened he would have outright dismissed it as untrue and moved on
That is how I took it too. He didn't want to lie so he threw out that mambo jahambo.

Why was Dionte Johnson not punished for calling Mitch Trubisky....B!tch Trubisky?

That is apparently why Mitch had a problem with Dionte Johnson during the Jets game. And yet they punish Trubisky for conduct not appropriate for a team captain?

I guess Dionte's actions and conduct are perfectly ok since he's not a captain.

Nothing to see here I guess......just another case of the Black Man trying to keep the White Man down?

I don't think this has anything to do with colors
