MNF 12-30-24.

San Francisco always has had a good defense for so many years. They sure are horrible tonight.
Or is Detroit’s offense just that much better.
Greenlaw and Ward were out so that didn’t help. Greenlaw really makes a difference but unfortunately gets injured often. If he didn’t go down against the chiefs in the Super Bowl, I think the 49ers win. Once he left, Mahomes was able to scramble and the underneath passing game opened up.

Absolutely crazy 14-2 doesn't clinch the No. 1 seed let alone the division heading into the final week.

I'm sick of the blustering Campbell persona, perhaps doesn't deserve to win the SB.

If there's a "script" this year, Vikes-Bills would be history's most honorable losers with a combined 0-8 in the SB and somebody has to win.

You forgot about King Patric, the NFL didn’t tarnish the Shield all season only to waste it on a loser’s script………………………………..

Give Detroit credit 14-2 with the amount of huge injuries they’ve had on Defense.

When I was going to my sports bar, the owner was/is a HUGE Detroit fan. I sat through his “defeated” season and off the muck of the Detroit Lions, for years. I ran into him Christmas Eve and we talked a lot and I told him how glad I am for the Lions but, mostly glad for him to have a great season with his favorite team. Made him happy to be able to bask in the glory so to speak.

If and when the STERELERS are out of contention, I’m going full bore Detroit to win it all.

I hate to see them win a 4th title in 6 years and they went through us like butter to help get there.

Other than the Steelers, I'd prefer the Bills or Chargers from the AFC or Lions or Vikings from the NFC in the SB.

And Bills>Lions>Vikings>Chargers

I do feel a bit dirty having a Harbage coached team that high on my list....

Lions are gonna get some starters on defense back for the playoffs. if they get the bye week I really don't know who can beat them. NOBODY can score with them.

I think their mentality is that if the defense can just get them two stops a game their offense will do the rest.

The biggest concern with the Lions is if Campbell does something stupid.

The thing is I don't think he is doing stupid things. He knows his defense isn't stopping anybody. I honestly think he looks at it as a calculated risk. If he goes for it and doesn't make it on a short field it just gives him more time for his offense. Actually I think with as beat up as his defense is it's actually a pretty smart game plan.

Their neanderthal head coach could cause problems. Just too slow.

I would take Neanderthal over Tomlin and day....
Other than the Eagles, the Lions probably took the next best approach to roster construction. I'll admit when I'm wrong as I thought the Lions 2023 took too many non-premium positions early. Gibbs, Campbell, LaPorta, and Branch (loved this pick). I didn't realize they had so many other pieces in place and these players helped put them over the top.

The Bills/Vikes would be cool because both are 0-4 in Super Bowls.
One of them has to win it this time.

You mean you defend all those "going for it" of 4th while in FG range? Ok, there. Whatever you say. Neanderthal ball, biting kneecaps.
I'm just curious as to why such a football expert like yourself isn't coaching a NFL team. Wait a tic I got it. your not coaching because your just another internet *** hat that pretends he knows what he is talking about. so yes I will stand behind Campbells decisions.

YES i would take Campbell and his style coaching over cool shades every day of the week.
