And it isnt the players that are the broken.Watching Browning put up 31 points on the Jags just makes it that much more obvious how broken we are offensively.

They look like those old school generic packaging items that you used to see in the grocery stores in the 70’s.bengals uniforms suck ***
The only unknown IMO is Pickett. It's hard to evaluate him within this system, but even within this system he has missed many available plays. They really need to bring in some legit competition next year with a new OC...if Pickett earns the starting nod, great. But At least have a legit second option in case he is not our franchise QB going forward. And it isnt the players that are the broken.
In my opinion they have tightened the strings so much on Pickett in this offense it has hurt his growth. Why draft Pickett if this is what you want your QB to do in it. We signed Tribisky and had Rudy already if this is what you want out of a QB. Hell. Ben had issues in it until the 4th quarters and then he just did his thing. And to top it off the Rooney's have to decide to keep Kenny or not.The only unknown IMO is Pickett. I hope so cause we should be. Browning was seeing the field better than Pickett has since he has been hereAre we looking ?

With the playbook Matt Canada has saddled the Steelers with the past 3 seasons I don't believe a future Hall of Fame QB could have functioned. There's just nothing to it.
It just goes to show how important it is to have an OC with a good playbook. Purdy, Browning last night etc are able to step in and almost immediately look like they're headed to Canton.
I hear yaz “48”, but keep in mind whose decision it was to retain him (O’Canada)……….. and the overall scheme of the team as well……Games like last night is a reminder why it's so ridiculous that our QBs and offense can't even luck into a big game.
The one thing about Kenny is I'm certain he will put the work in during the off season to familiarize himself with the new OC's playbook. At the begining of this season (remeber picket had a strong l;ast 1/2 season) many here didn’t want O’Canada replaced because of Pickett being “set” back. Can’t tarnish him with w different cordinator.
My argument was that keeping O’Canada was setting KP8 further back than what changing OC would do.
NOT patting my back, just looking back and really realizing how big a hole this O’Canada affect actually is Today.
KP8 is definitely way behind the scale, for rookie hopefuls.
NEW OC after season and get his tired scared azZ in and working under a better, non-feared system.

I think signing a legit center takes care of a lot of those "bad habits". I wouldn't want to step up and count on Mason Cole doing his job either.Oh, I agree with this full, byt my biggest concern is how much damage and bad habits were done. He sees a blitz and immediately want to run, not step up and quits his reads.
Most of that has to be fixed off season, biut in game will be the judgement.
