How much time does he take during the week to make sure this gets done...wouldn't his time be better spent preparing for his opponent or putting in extra work with his teammates?

I don't know the reliability of the source, but it would not be a good look if the organization promised an underpaid star player a contract and then didn't go through with it.

Wearing cleats isn't going to up the ante for '17, producing on the field will.

I know, but I was being a smartass with regards to the photos routinely having those old tires in the background. Im sure AB is paying him well. As for AB and the fines IDC....as long as he doesn't miss playing time and scores time and again, he can wear ballerina shoes.
