Truly sorry to hear that.
But it's not your fault. I personally know of parents who have done the absolute best they could for their children, yet they turn out to be disappointments.
You just have to take solace in knowing you did the best you could. The rest is out of your control.
At the high school my kids attended in the lobby are photos of the kids that were high achievers and had GPA's off the charts.
The Asian kids ruled. Followed by Indians (no not your people warriors 42) and then the whites a distant third. I won't mention those that weren't represented at all.
I wonder if they still display the photos in this age of "everyone should get a trophy" and inclusiveness. No doubt it must be disheartening for those groups not pictured.
