Myles Garrett: Your Defensive Player of the Year (?) - Playoff Edition

Clowns have best D in the league
Garret DPOY
I can still dunk a basketball
Factory dwellers must have been sure of a win after a couple quarters.
Clowns RT should give his salary to Flacco. I don't know how you can just not block the only guy in front of you
Flacco will get all the flack and he did stare down his WR on the 2nd Pick 6. Credit to Harris who was a statue following Flacco eyes and then jumped the route as soon as Flacco started throwing motion. Elite Play. Then he gets huge sack for loss to end a drive.

Phins exposed for what they are a .35 SOV and a ton of hype. Tua bailed out by Hill coming back for a ball that should have been picked and then taking it in for 6. He was entire phins offense. To think phins were hyped up as SB contender and Tua as MVP

KC 6 years of consecutive playoff wins. Gotta admit I'm envious.

Texans are finally legit. Rookie Stroud standing in there and going through his progressions and then firing darts - he is an impressive rook.

If Buffalo somehow manages to beat us, Stroud will have chance to prove himself against the Baltimore pass rush. I'll be watching

CJ Stroud is the real deal. Shout out to OC Bobby Slowik. That my friends is what an NFL OC looks like.
Shout out to DeMeco Ryans. Did a great job!
TJ Watt simply the greatest defensive player on this planet.
Myles Garrett not on the same level and nowhere near as a good a season as TJ had.
TJ hands down DPOY otherwise it’s strictly political.

Stoud is right up there with Dan Marino as the best rookie QB season performance I have ever witnessed..

Kid is going to win a few Lombardis' if he stays healthy...maybe not this year, but its coming.
But then again....I said the same about Marino..
add Ben in there. no Steeler bias. his rookie season was amazing

Ben’s rookie season will never be repeated.

This right here is why the HC needs to be the OC. Slowik is gone this year or next with similar results FOR sure. Good DCs can be had with old HCs no problem.

PFF is the scourge of real football and virtually impossible to dispute unless you are going to sit there and comb every rep. Like let's take win rate. What defines a win. Beating my block but not effecting the play. How do you define win? Even hurries are dubious at best.
Just like half of Collinsworth's analysis his analytics company is Bullshit.

The most telling thing to me was about a 4 game stretch where the opponent FREQUENTLY lined up a search or TE who's job it was to not chip but layer Watt so the tackle could hold inside and then bale to protect edge. And in true Tomlin fashion it took about 3/4 of those games to set up an auto blitz that basically produced a free hitter through the B/C gap.
I watched Garrett intently yesterday. Like all top notch edges he was chipped (sometimes) but not any crazy amount and certainly not that. Add on that, the never ending holds, Adams falling into his knee with lots of game left and a couple sacks called TFL's because the Q was apparently running......he could have had 23 or more sacks.

That’s the part that I don’t understand. As long as I can remeber, if the QB was tackled behind the line of scrimmage for a loss, it was a sack, no if’s / and ‘s / or butts.

Warren Sapp would need his entire career re-examined under these new rules, same for Micheal Strahan……………

TJ WATT was stolen 2.5 sacks this season, think about that.

****-ing helmet swinging liar………………….. greatest ever, obviously a winner when it comes to made up “win-rate”.

Should TJ not get the DPOY, how the hell will the NFL spin that to disadvantage him in that regards????

PFF doesn’t count for shitzzz.

I wonder if the wildcat changed rules of TFL vs. Sack. To me first person getting the ball TFL it's a sack.

So.... will the advanced PFF stats be used for HOF consideration? I guess MG is a HOF player already too based on his pass rush "win rate" ....SMH. That will read nicely under his bust LOL
