Najee F'ing Harris

Man if you are not pumped after that game you are not a Steeler Fan
It's not about not being a fan. It just seems silly to make it sound like we're on the verge of taking the AFCN when the reality is we barely beat a slightly above average team that was playing their backup QB. And it took us 59:10 to do it. Our coaching staff is still horrible and we're still not nearly as good as the Bengals.

Najee has been playing better and better since he took the metal plate out of his shoe and the bye week when he got to rest his foot a little. The OL has been run blocking better as well. They still can't pass block but that's another discussion for another time (both tackles were getting beat relatively consistently last night). He looks like the beast he was last year when many on here were still saying he was not very good because he wasn't ripping off 50 yard runs. Last night he had a lot of 6, 8, 10-yard runs and those are what you need to wear a team down especially come December and the playoffs.
This.
Najee is finally playing healthy.

I’ll take that and couple in. The better “run” play of the OL. I think the blocking for the “O’Canada” scheme on what he said he needed to make it work has been abandoned and a more run conducive scheme has been adopted.

I also think as much as I don’t want it, O’Canada will be back.

I hope they take from this game and move forward. This is the running back that was the best of last years draft. He gained a ton of confidence last night and I hope it will carry over.

you mean the Bengals we beat in week 1 with the ****** coaching staff? or the Bengals we lost to by 1 score in Nov?

Seriously if you are not happy after last nights game, you need to find a hobby or something. try fishing?

I feel that would be a mistake. He doesn't seem to have a great feel for the game. I am hoping Kenny's improvement and gutsy play doesn't cloud the real issues at hand. In a playoff game you need to be able to scheme to produce points. This team is still struggling in that department despite Oline improvement, RB improvement, and QB improvement.

Beating the Ravens in their house with PO implications is always good. I see more positives than negatives with this team and Najee looked like the RB we hoped he would be in B&G. Can't forget Warren, too. Loved the running game. Took 17 games to see it flourish, but I'll take it going into the 2023 season.

They also didn't have one of their best defensive players, but a win is a win. Cinci is the elite team right now, but they will have a monster QB contract coming up not to mention a huge WR contract with Chase. Their oline is already weak and its going to be very hard to keep Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and Boyd.

Maybe my new hobby can be creating alternate realities where my favorite team is better than they actually are. That sounds healthy and a good way to pass the time.

he is not a Steeler fan
Right. Because being a Steelers fan means trying to convince myself and others of things that aren't true.

Beating a slightly above average team with their backup QB in the closing seconds = Others viewing us as a serious threat.

Yeah. Sure ..

Well I am not sure who your favorite team is but maybe you are onto something. But I would try the fishing thing

Majority of the fan base knows this team is middling at best. Nobody is creating any alternate realities. But it also is ok to enjoy a win. What is your favorite team?

You mean the pats*? Yeap, just needed some cheating to be better than they actually were.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want O’Canada back at all. I agree fully with you !

It's early, but the Chiefs seem to be doing okay with Mahomes' on a monster deal and after trading away their star wide receiver.

This team is far from perfect. I think it's safe to say that every fan knows this, but it's something to build on. They were 2-6 and many were hoping they would get a Top 5 pick, clean house, etc, but they are 8-8 with the word "playoffs" thrown around.
I'm now optimistic for next season. They should have 3x Top 50 picks and with the right draft, they could be a contender sooner than later. I'll take the baby steps we have been seeing with this team. They are not Buffalo, KC or even Cinci, but it's encouraging. The off-season should be interesting where they take this young and upcoming team.

Exactly how I feel. Just praying this isn't going to translate into well the offense improved down the stretch under Canada. Cause lets be honest scoring a TD is like giving birth for them still. BUT if they could find a guy who could help them cash like three scores and a field goal per game. You got something. 24 points is a pretty good cushion with most of this defense and a full go Watt.

oh I like Leal

but Jones would have given the Steelers a weapon on punt and kick returns and been a solid slot cb

fills multiple holes
