A few less without me. We went to the second Pocono race every year for 26 years. My dad's heart got too bad to make the walk to the grandstand, my son and I went for a couple years, then I just decided to see different tracks. Haven't been there in three years. Plus Pocono is in the middle of F'n nowhere although from the license plates I'd see they draw a lot from NJ, NY, and CT, besides PA.
That Pocono track is sweet. Too bad it's so damn far from me. I remember about 6 years ago volunteering to help at a Tough Mudder event held at that track. I drove up through bfe wondering am I lost. Then in the middle on nowhere boom this big track.. I was like who stuck this here?..haha. The tunnel under the track going to the infield was really cool. I didn't expect that.
I was at Bristol.......I kept waiting for a caution with 25 laps to go to bunch the field up. Back in the day when Earnhardt was King that would have happened.
It was like they didn't want to mess up their paint jobs.
