Did anyone else sign up for Netflix just to watch the game on Christmas?

Nope. Got other things to do anyways.

Just my .02 but I don't think any pro league or college should have a Christmas game. I could be wrong but I thought the NFL used to reschedule games to the Saturday before when Christmas landed on a Sunday

I already have Netflix. I wouldn't sign up for it just for the game though.

I wouldn't if I didn't already have it. NFLN is replaying it at 830. I'll probably end up watching it then.
After the **** show with the Tyson fight, I don't have much faith in Netflix being to handle the NFL audience.

Just so you know, it was the promoters pruducving of the aTysdon fight that failed.

It will be CBS production team that will be producing Netflix game on Christmas. I doubt there will be any ill problems of any kind. Those that wait til the last5 minute may find a sign up issue.

Salute the nation

I already have Netflix and Amazon Prime. I cut out everything else several years back. Now I save thousands of dollars a year and get the same stuff I'd watch anyway for a fraction of the price.

EXACTLY ^^^^^

Well I said I wouldn’t do it but I did. So as not to feel too guilty about it I dumped a bunch of stuff in my Dish line up.

NHL does it right JMM. No games Christmas Eve or Day and Boxing Day. No practice,no team travel allowed.
which I fully agree with. Tons of players have kids. We seem to forget they all have families.
Personally I’d want my older brother who is making millions showing up with presents for family dinner time 🙂🙂

Love the NHL...

You know your millionaire brother isn't going to give you crap. Maybe a pair of socks or some rubber dog poop. Just to give you the business. ;)

Monster ratings led to this. If they want to do the Thursday/Friday/Saturday game, whatever. That's relatively normal for the NFL. To jack up the schedule over two weeks just to play on a Wednesday is a bit much. What are they going to do when Christmas falls on a Tuesday...have double Monday night games the next week I'd assume?

I think it sucks.

The possibility of My Team losing on Christmas sucks even more.

The distinct possibility that the game is decided by bullshit calls from "ahem" incompetent officiating makes that outcome infuriating, exactly how I want to spend my Christmas evening.

**** Goodell. That greedy, corrupt, mother ******

You got to be a little more strategic. I know my big brother would be married with a trophy wife. You go all out to get her on your side. Because you know she’s out there spending the $$$$$ on presents for everyone. Relieves the guilt trip for when she dumps big bro after he retires taking her 50% with a smile.

It's on NFL Game Pass here. And kickoff is 5 am Boxing Day here, so I'll probably watch on delay. That means the Steelers should win, as their record since I signed up for NFL Game pass is 0-3 when I watch live, 2-0 when I watch on delay.

Netflix will get big ratings. You can't exactly go to a sports bar on Christmas day if you don't have Netflix.

The big loser is the NBA. For years they got big ratings in Christmas from people putting it on the TV letting it play in the background. Pretty much the only time they do get ratings because the NBA sucks now. Wildly drive to the bucket and kick out for a guy to brick a 3 pointer. Maybe the NBA can own Arbor Day.

Is it a Netflix exclusive? I wonder if it will be the same streaming mess that was the Tyson/Paul fight. I kinda hope that it is, for a number of reasons.

We also did that, though we now share everything with our paying children. 4 households share all the channels.

I thought I heard that the Pittsburgh and Kansas City markets get the game on CBS. Don’t know if that’s true. Can’t remember where I heard that.

Somethings got to give then haha
They’re 6-0 when I watch at my dive bar (closed)
1-3 when I watch at home
3-2 when I watch elsewhere

I’ll be watching at home, until…

If you loved the Steelers and us fans, you'd break into your dive bar on Christmas for us.

If you are not that good at this stuff, just show this post to the cops when they show up and you'll be ok.

I checked the tvtv.us site for Pittsburgh and you are correct. The game is broadcast locally there on CBS.
