Netflix

Somethings got to give then haha
They’re 6-0 when I watch at my dive bar (closed)
1-3 when I watch at home
3-2 when I watch elsewhere

I’ll be watching at home, until…

Sorry ,but you must go to your dive bar and stream the game on your phone outside.

Got to take one for the team!...hahs

My Sister in law has Netflex and the Blitz fam has amazon prime. we share each others passwords. safe money.

for those that got rid of regular tv how do you watch local news/games?

My nephew gave me his login and pw for Netflix so I can watch.
He's a good kid! (kid lol, he's 33)

YOU may want to pre-check it out to be sure you can log on. Netflix has cracked down on such instances. Somehow they track that login and if there are two logins or one away from the home, they will cut the cord.

Has happened to several friends of mine and I’m just saying that you may be disappointed at the last second of the plan.

I think about 5-6 years ago, Netflix recognized this sort of “theft” as a problem and has been actively looking on how to combat it. HULU is another streamer on that threshold as well.

That’s awesome

Maybe a bottle of Mad Dog in a brown paper bag

Maybe Netflix holds the key to beating the Chefs??? I heard Mike’s never had a losing season on Netflix yet..ever

Thanks for the warning, I didn't know they checked that.
If all else fails, I still have my usual sneaky streams as a backup!

It's a 1 o'clock game right? That means 11 AM here and 10 AM on the west coast.
Don't know about anyone else, but there will be lots of family activities on Christmas morning to pay complete attention to a game.

Is it weird that 2 separate channels carry the game in Canada? CTV and TSN. Obviously they have it contracted out, they carry every Thursday,Sunday and Monday night games. I get it on my HD Antenna as it easily picks up that feed.

NOT everybody gets caught, just saying to give it a test drive.

I thought I heard that the Pittsburgh and Kansas City markets get the game on CBS. Don’t know if that’s true. Can’t remember where I heard that.

Yeah, the NFL is supposed to still make games available on local networks to keep their antitrust exemption going... its probably why they haven't gone strictly pay per view yet...

Hopefully there will a be stream other than Netflix. Otherwise, I will not be watching.

I have Siris XM radio for $10.19 per month, I use that as last backup. I actually like radio games and you can choose home and away broadcast team.

Football on Christmas Day is stupid. thankfully my kids are grown. If not, not sure I could really watch. would have it on, but would be doing more important things.

think about the kids of the teams that lose. sad all day on Christmas. anyway you look at it that sucks.

If it comes to that, know that you can pick up the Steelers radio network on your computer and listen to the DVE broadcast with the hometown announcers.

Just going to wait until 8:30 and watch the replay on NFL Network. Works out better for our family's Christmas day plans anyway.

Steelers have a free home radio feed

I frequently sink that up when certain people
Are calling the game

Or if I’m stuck on a travel day

It's on NFL Game Pass here. And kickoff is 5 am Boxing Day here, so I'll probably watch on delay. That means the Steelers should win, as their record since I signed up for NFL Game pass is 0-3 when I watch live, 2-0 when I watch on delay.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed

for those that got rid of regular tv how do you watch local news/games?
If you have a smart tv or add like a Roku to make it a smart tv ,there are tons of apps that carry live news that costs absolutely zero. In Canada there is CBC GEM app that will do the news live locally from all provinces. So while I will watch my local Vancouver news,I can also watch live local Toronto news or Edmonton News…etc. Does that with all programming, including NHL hockey. It’s pretty cool. There are a couple European apps for international live news. There are tons of American Apps for news. ABC etc.

Edit…..Also BLITZ…….have you looked at an HD antenna? My 15$ used marketplace antenna gets me most of my local tv channels for absolutely free. You would be surprised, depending on your area. Have cut the cable for years. Was so sick and tired of them announcing increase after increase. How much is your cable bill? That’s how much you will save.

I signed up for a month of Netflix. The wife and I are going to binge-watch a show or two and watch a few movies to get our money's worth before I shut it down later in January. My streaming service may have the game but I couldn't take the risk so this really isn't a bad option.

Possibility?
Even IF we pulled off a win on X-mis day, I won't let the LONG history of almost 8 years be altered: Tomlin just sucks come playoffs. Hasn't sniffed a win in almost 8 years. I haven't seen ANYTHING from this team that hints we will win a playoff game.

I put winning another game this year at VERY low
