The video mentioned lack of hotel capacity is an issue, if they did get selected to host one, Pittsburgh and surrounding area would get some residual benefits. It’s only an hour and a half to two hour ride depending on where you’re located. Buses etc. could transport allot of folks. Would be even better if the Steelers were one of the participants in a super bowl hosted by our good friends with their stadium filled with fans wearing black and hold swirling terrible towels. Also, if I had to guess, the Browns won't get a Super Bowl.
The biggest issue there is would be the traffic on 51. It would be a bigger nightmare on SundaysAll that land where Century III mall was. Stillers build a new stadium or Pitt can build their own.
Getting to that area without traffic is a pain, having 65,000 converge all at once would require an overnight stay lol..The biggest issue there is would be the traffic on 51. It would be a bigger nightmare on Sundays
The new Browns stadium will instantly have one of the worst exteriors of any modern stadium built. It's a suburban stadium, which also sucks. The interior may be fine, but it's AFC North football played in a dome on plastic. I don't know if you've seen the anticipated ticket and parking prices they shared with Browns fans...they are absolutely insane.
As a ticket holder, I hope the Steelers go the major renovation route because I am not prepared to have my ticket prices skyrocketed only to get displaced into worse seats.
