NFC Championship Game

Wow never seen a team who actually couldn't throw the ball with both quarterbacks arms ******. I think the other fella may have a concussion.
The league needed to expand to 65 man rosters two decades ago with 52 active players on gameday. This would permit one dedicated backup at each position, a K,P, LS KR, and 3rd QB plus two practice squad call ups at positions of need and one extra player at whatever spot they want… that should cover concussion concerns being so regular now

Why put Purdy back in the game? If he can't throw then you are better off playing a RB and just doing wildcat every play. Playing with Purdy was playing a man down.

Just got in from snow blowing

Score & Clock ?

What happened to Purdue ?

That goose was cooked way before gimpy came back in.

NFL used to allow a 3rd emergency QB that was not part of the active 52 but could come in the game if needed. With the new concussion protocols, they need to bring back that rule.

Fully agree tape, that 3rd QB didn’t count as a game day roster spot. It definitely needs to be reinstated.

Purdy got an arm injury early in the game and 49ers offense couldn;t do anything. Then their backup got knocked out so they had to put Purdy back in and the eagles knew he couldn't throw so the offense really couldn't do anything but run gadget plays. Game was over as soon as Purdy got hurt.

And risking more serious damage to whatever is wrong with him.

100 percent agree.

What they did was let teams activate one extra player and every team almost immediately went and found another special teams player and rolled with two qbs again

It used to be 45+ the emergency qb.. now its 46

Never undertook the need to inactivate players.

Never undertook the need to inactivate players.

The concept was to not penalize teams with injuries too much.. a team with 53 available players has an advantage over one with 48 because 5 guys are hurt… so by having a cushion of inactive players, it softens it a bit..

Tgey just need to add more roster spots for tge current climate
