I have Hulu and have no complaints. It was a great day getting rid of Verizon. (Except for their high speed internet) I like that for work.
Hulu streaming tv, or just normal huluI have Hulu and have no complaints. It was a great day getting rid of Verizon. (Except for their high speed internet) I like that for work.
Streaming TV. Not real expensive and really no complaints.Hulu streaming tv, or just normal hulu
I'm forced to have Xfinity for internet. That's the only service available in my area. While I don't know what Xfinity promotions look like these days from a cost standpoint, I'm certain that they will be far more expensive once that promotion ends. I think Hulu w/ live tv is right around $70/mo? Most would get everything that they need with that. No way XFINITY gives you a decent cable package for that price after the promotional period ends. They are virtual monopolies in certain areas and thus can act like ***** in others… cable companies should not be allowed to provide service and content… its a conflict of interest…
Yeah but it doesn’t give you your game like ticket. I looked into that as I wasn’t getting any Steeler games this yearI'm not sure if anyone has tried 'NFL Plus' (the subscription where you have to watch on your mobile device). When I first heard about it I didn't know what I would think about watching a game on my phone, but I have a couple of buddies who have it, and if you have a decent size smart phone, it's not bad. I think it's like $39.99 annually for the Basic Plan and $79.99 annually for the Premium. Right now they are running a holiday special where you can get a Basic Plan the rest of this season for $12.99 or the Premium subscription for $24.99. I may actually subscribe to this next season.
What do you mean by "game like ticket"? To the best of my knowledge, you have access to all games .. to include pre-season.Yeah but it doesn’t give you your game like ticket. I looked into that as I wasn’t getting any Steeler games this year
This past Black Friday, I got normal Hulu for $1.99/mo for the next 12 months.Hulu streaming tv, or just normal hulu
NFL Sunday ticket. What do you mean by "game like ticket"? To the best of my knowledge, you have access to all games .. to include pre-season.
I'm not sure if you and I are talking about the same thing. Here you go:NFL Sunday ticket.
No you do not have access to the games on NFL +. Well maybe after the fact but not live. That would make the ticket worthless.
We are.I'm not sure if you and I are talking about the same thing. Here you go:
NFL+ | Live games and more, on the go | NFL.com/plus
NFL+ gives you the freedom to watch LIVE local & primetime Regular Season and Postseason games on the go on your phone or tablet.www.nfl.com
I see. So you get all out-of-market preseason games, but only local and primetime regular season games. I didn't realize that you don't get every game during the regular season. No longer worth $70/year, IMO.We are.
If I got that I can not watch the Steelers if the Steelers are not on in my area. “Live local and PT games”.
I’m in Philly so I haven’t got any Steelers games. I looked into it but no dice.
Right. And why pay (google/YouTube) two billion for something that folks can get from the NFL straight up.I see. So you get all out-of-market preseason games, but only local and primetime regular season games. I didn't realize that you don't get every game during the regular season. No longer worth $70/year, IMO.
Seems to me then that you won't need to be a YouTube TV subscriber to get access to the games via the Premium Channels, which is basically what I said.Old but think it’s good read. Premium is cheaper route for sure. So if you have a smart tv with apps you can watch via normal YouTube
YouTube Premium vs. YouTube TV: What's the Difference?
YouTube Premium and YouTube TV may sound similar, but their content doesn't overlap much and they don’t offer the same features. We explain what you get with each of these subscription services from Google and who should pay for them.www.pcmag.com
Still have a subscription you need to paySeems to me then that you won't need to be a YouTube TV subscriber to get access to the games via the Premium Channels, which is basically what I said.
If you're still a PGH local, you can sign up for Paramount Plus for $4.99/mo. That will give you all the local CBS games included. I'm not sure if Peacock is still a free app or not (worst case it may be $4.99/mo), but that would give you all the NBC Sunday night Football games. From there, you would just have to figure out how to catch the rare games that are televised on Fox and the ESPN Monday night games. If that is the case I will drop them also. I just need to for the basics and Steeler games.
I live in MD Raven land. Hard to find Steeler games. Directtv had me just because of the ticket. Youtube will get my business if it is not to crazy expensive. If you're still a PGH local, you can sign up for Paramount Plus for $4.99/mo. That will give you all the local CBS games included. I've been saying the same thing for years. I think if they offered a "pick your team" package for $99/per season, tons of people who don't currently subscribe would pounce on that offer. If you can watch just Steelers games a la carte for the entire year at around $100, that would be sweet.
