I definitely liked what the Steelers did and thought the bungles did good. One thing I find interesting about the rats is they drafted an ILber and didn't pick up Queen's fifth year option. Looks like he is on the outside after the season.

Unfortunately, I thought the Bengals draft rivaled the Steelers among the best. They got great value and picked a few players I think are underrated.

First casualty of the Lamar contract.....several more to follow...for several years..

WhoAly sheeeeeeIIIT……..

Love it and direct to the point, tying something new Supe???? (J/K)

Like I said it is subjective and I’m pretty sure everyone here knows none of the draftees have played a single down in the NFL.

All that being said, remember that none of the other team’s draftees have played a down either.

I was trying to show that the STEELERS played their cards and emotions correctly in this draft. I can’t think of a single better ”played” draft, under Coach Tomlin’s tenure, that was played better.

I hear that and am looking forward to all they lose and eventually ACTION will be out of commission while they are still paying that top dollar.

Yahoo Sports says the Steelers had the best draft of the NFL this year. Gave them an A+. I was stunned.

They did real well and considering last 10 years, I can see the ”stun”.

My thinking is that draft grades have no relevance to how the player will pan out in the NFL. No one knows so it would be silly to give grades for that.

I believe the grades are only meant to evaluate a team on things such as being able to fill their needs, the quality of the players selected., and "steals" of the draft.

The Steelers filled their needs... with quality players, and apparently that TE Washington was a steal. Thats an A+ baby!

Whether they pan out is a different story.

Saw a stat a few times recently that only about a third of 1st round picks are still with the team that drafted them after their rookie contract is up. So, as is said every year, you need to give it a few years before you can really grade a draft but on paper, the Steelers did really well. Hopefully, things pan out nearly as well as we are hoping.

AGREE and Like I said this is just the grade, no one is debating the “pan out” part, least ways I’m not.

I’m glad as he‘ll about the way things fell and who they picked, along with the positive grade they got.

Like SteelerSask2 said, I’d rather be first than worst………….

While the draft is a crap shoot i can't remember a draft where people were pretty much all aligned on it being a great draft. If the picks don't pan out then so be it, but I don't think there should be much second guessing on who we got. Most places i have seen had the eagles or Steelers near the top. If our top 2 picks work out i would consider it successful
