Nick Bosa signs huge contract with 49ers, will play Sunday

A real test for Moore Jr. on 3rd down. I would love to see Darnell Washington lined up next to Moore Jr. on 3rd and 4 or more and make sure to hit Bosa with authority before leaving the LOS.
Yes---This!

The big young tight end with great blocking skills is going to pay immediate dividends. And not in the passing game Sunday, but that's alright with me!

This is where Canaduh has to have a game plan to keep us out of 3rd and long. We need to be efficient on 1st and 2nd downs. Sure, the team has to execute but if they go run up the middle, run up the middle, and then try to pass on 3rd and long, it will be a long game. They will most likely stack the box to start the game until we show we can pass. Canaduh almost has to start the game allowing Picket to throw the ball and roll out. Starting the game with a 3 and out would be very bad. We must at least get some first downs on the 1st drive.

Definitely hope the JuJu from the preseason carries over. If we start conservative I think it's thing to be a long game. SF is a tough first test not a good time for Canada to turtle up and play tight

I absolutely think our defense is just as good, if not better, than San Fran...I don't wish for injuries on any player - Purdy, the Steel Curtain has been resurrected...RUN!!!

Only pain.
Lots of it. Pain like the Steel Curtain used to deliver.

Like the Joe Greene kick / punch them in NUTS kind a pain or the slow death type pain ?

Salute the nation

I presume when most think of those Steelers that inflicted the most pain Greene, Lambert, Blout are the first to come to mind.
Dwight White didn't take a back seat to any of those guys. We didn't call him "Mad Dog" for nothing.

That's right Stain fans, it's spelled "dog" not "dawg", you knuckle dragging subhumans.

Because of White we coulda been the "dawgs" way before you, but we aren't knuckle dragging subhumans.

This will be the litmus test for whether rebuilding much of the middle of the D was successfully accomplished right off the bat.

Dawg is just their way of incorporating “Awful” into the nickname….

Bad knee an all?!?! ;)

Over/under on the quarter he tears a hammy?

that's what i was thinking. I'm expecting a lot of injuries league wide. These young couches think they're protecting their players by not playing them in preseason, but i think it leads to more soft tissue injuries as players try to go from zero to full speed.

One of the things I like about Tomlin is the way he runs his training camp practices. Even if we don't see said player a lot in preseason I know his practices will get the players as ready as possible physically.

Actually I’m more interested in Purdy and the other Injured 9rs…
Shanahan should have a rep of a coach that rushes guys back from injuries …
Those 9ers are always having guys come back early then later getting reinjured…
Newsflash these guys aren’t superheroes… if the doctor says 8 weeks… thats time to heal and strengthen the body part… yeah you can play earlier, but you are definitely not at 100%

I mean purdy was supposed to miss over a month of the season… Rayray just got cleared from a broken wrist and he was supposed to be out until week 5… there are tons more…

Just watch… this is going to be an issue soon

If Cam and Ogunjobi both miss the game, they will run all over us. Both aren't looking good to be 100% if they play at all.

Maybe… all those interior Dts we kept can play at those positions… i think the DL is in far better position than people think.

Seems like an injury waiting to happen if Bosa plays too much Sunday.

I'd bet money on Cam playing. Larry O? That's another question...

Agreed. Both practiced yesterday. Ogunjobi has had a very limited camp due to the foot injury, but Cam missed some time due to a stomach bug, nothing more. He has been a full participant all camp.
