Nike

I grew up and lived in Armstrong County. Most of the time spent on 6 Acres right beside Glade Run just up the hill from the Pony Farm. I now since age 59 sold everything and have been a full timer in my Rv. It’s just me and my dog Minnie. I spent the first 17 1/2 years in the coal mines UMWA. So, like a lot of the Steeler Nation, I grew up a common man and have always been a voracious reader. You cannot meander across America ( no interstates) and not be ( or become ) a very open minded person. Without interstates, you get to feel and talk to the soul of America. I say all this to get you as a member of the Steeler Nation, to see where I am coming from in my posts. By saying that, If anyone has a legitimate *****, it’s the Natives that we broke every treaty with. But that is a volume in itself.

Just remember, History, is always written by the Victors. You have to dig deep for the real truth.

He should have called Kraeperdick a ******* idiot.

Interesting.

Two things.

1). Kaepernick scored a 37.

2). Of that list, all the QBs on it besides Kaepernick, Ryan and Newton actually WON a Super Bowl.

Then why does he sound like an idiot whenever he speaks?

wonderlic scores are never released. They are always "leaked", usually by an agent. So wonderlic scores could be bullshit.

It’s clear to me that he’s not that smart based on his own words and actions. And his words always sound like he’s trying to remember a script written by somebody else. His initial response to his sideline anthem pout was rambling nonsense. Later, he seemed to be reading off the BLM template. Smart people don’t allow themselves to be used.

I took my kid to buy new sneakers over the weekend (he grows out of them every 8 months it seems). Told him he could buy anything but Nikes.

Bought Filas.

It's the little things that count.

Being book smart does not necessarily mean you're street/common sense smart. Just look at Ted Kaczynski as one example.

Not that it matters....he's sharp as a tack, that's the point.

I heard a rumor that he finally got signed to a team.

If he is brilliant, or at a minimum very smart, as you suggest, then why did he go to University of Nevada at Reno?!?

Seriously, Tibs, you think Princeton would not take a guy with significant QB talents to play for them? Or Stanford? Or Cal?

So the data show you are overestimating Kaepernick's intelligence, at least based on his GPA and SAT scores.

Or are you saying that the genius decided to go to the University of ******* Nevada at Reno because of their academic prowess, or football track record?!?

I will never buy another Nike product for me or my family. **** them. It will be interesting to see how their stock does. I think it's going to take a big hit.

I am the same party of Thomas Jefferson and I say if you would not allow emotion to cloud our logic, this guy would be cheap to contract, and make the Steelers a lot of money. With all the rookies he would be a great fit especially for ole stiff arm McDonald. What a great, great stiff arm. I am so glad I got to see it from Apache Junction, AZ.

Now I’m talking about back up quarterback position. But, it would allow Ben some rest time. What a beaten he has taken over the years.

Ahh, that would not be a NO..but a HELL NO !! I'm quite sure Pittsburgh hasn't degraded that far Left yet. There were enough empty seats last week as it was.

If you think Michael Vick got the natives stirred up you ain't seen nothing yet.
Besides which, Kap doesn't want to play any more. He just wants to be an activist. Remember SF offered him another contract and he turned it down.

As did the Broncos. $7 million per year. So just stop with the "sacrificing everything" narrative Nike.
