A couple of things I think will happen as the season progresses:

- The O-line will be surprisingly good, with both Moore at LT and Chuks at RT playing above the line and beyond expectations.
- Consequently, Coach Adrian Klemm will be looked at as a savant, a la Russ Grimm and Mike Munchak years past.
- Steven Sims will supplant Ray-Ray McCloud in the slot WR/returner role
- Karl Joseph will be elevated to the 53 man roster, likely supplanting Arthur Maulet or Killebrew
- Cam Sutton will lock down Mike Hilton's old role, and make a living in the slot. Haden, Pierre & Witherspoon will man the outside spots.
- Najee Harris will be a bonafide superstar in the league, will have major, statement games early and never look back
- We will love Matt Canada's offense & playcalling. More importantly, Ben will love it as well. We'll see a more reserved, disciplined, locked-in Ben than years past. As long as we're winning, nobody will care about padding their stats, their Madden ratings or looking good in fantasy football.
- Buddy Johnson will move ahead of Spillane on the ILB depth chart.
- Kendrick Green, Pat Freirmuth and Pressley Harvin will play like seasoned veterans early on, cement their roles and never look back.

Can hardly wait for the season to kick off!

I will add, the entire league will know who Highsmith is this season. I'm projecting double digit sacks if healthy.

Noice !!!!!

I'll ride with yaz in that wagon...........................

Salute the nation

How about some risky projections…

the Steelers start slow but win the division

the Browns crash and burn, missing the playoffs in a spectacular meltdown

the Ravens and Bengals fight it out for the last playoff spot (unless the bungals break their qb again)

JamirJones will flash brilliance in the limited action that he gets.

I mean basically our season hinges on the oline gelling and the secondary holding up. Both have a series of very young guys who are questions but it’s possible that those questions may end up being answered very positively… and if that is the case, then barring injury we should be able to hold our own against anyone…

I don't think that Oline is going to thrive early. I see some rocky starts until they get continuity with each other. Hopefully Ben is still standing at that point.

My predictions are:
1) Diontae Johnson will 100rec.
2) I will second the Alex Highsmith double digit sacks total, with 12.5

Cool, it happened as early as the 1st game of the season. So grateful we won't be seeing Spillane chasing ball carriers from 3-4 yards away, left in the dust. I liked Spillane last year for a bit, but really soured on him this pre-season. I doubt he sticks on the roster much longer.

Update: LB Robert Spillane is *inactive* today. Rookie Buddy Johnson gets the hat over him.

I think ultimately you will be right, but the move today is because Spillane busted himself in warmups… Johnson was supposedly on the original inactive list and was taken iff after the shin thing…

Ah, ok, didn't catch that. I still see Buddy's arrow pointing up... hopefully he has a solid outing on ST's.
